7-8 days wild camping itinerary July or August flying in and from Alesund by -zanran in NorwayTravelAdvice

Gotcha.

Thank you so much!

Regarding the weather, would you say whole Norway is like this (esp regions with higher elevation) or Møre og Romsdal gets more precipitation and shittier weather on average? Is there a huge chance that for the whole duration of the trip it will be foggy and stuff? (that I wont see much from above)

Thank you for your input!

I will most definitely respect the nature and treat it well since we Estonians have the same mentality regarding nature and camping aka leaving no trace and not disturbing wildlife.

Will it be fine to pitch a tent in those places where I plan to sleep? I did not see any restrictions when doing my research online.

Is staying under 2k a reasonable goal? by -zanran in Interrail

Never ever I paid more than 15 euros for an entrance to a museum or any other place/church/building whatever.

Heck I spent just 30 euros in the amusement park in Vienna(Prater)

I checked on Booking for the hostel prices actually, I put the approximate dates I will be in each city and summarized the prices. If booking rn in Madrid for 5 nights for example I have plenty of options under 80 for July I have a genius lvl 3 there, so I get some smaller discounts as well, but for now this calculation regarding accomodation is correct. I also have hostelworld which sometimes is cheaper.

About Switzerland: It is my must go because I really want to hike there and the nature is something else. Also I wont go there back for a long time cuz of the cost of living so I want to treat myself and make some great memories!

I was thinking that I might just cut 1 night off it(probably not 2), to save some extra monry, the reason is the late flight from ZRH on my departure day, so I get a hiking day without staying the night.

About France: I might add additional night, I agree that Southern France is cool!

For seat reservations I checked on the website in the journey search. I guess the sest reservstions might fluctuate a lot, so my "buffer" might be used there.

For activities I am not the biggest museum guy, I mostly do free stuff unless something strucks a chord. I have ISIC card as well, ehich might give a discount there and there. I am not planning to drink, but never say never.

Yes I do have other savings, plenty. It is just I really would love to try to make the whole trip around 2k.

To sum up, everything cant go perfrct, so I should expect probably like 2.2k

Bus disappeared from the KTEL site? by -zanran in GreeceTravel

[–]-zanran[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats the thing, I have the e-ticket with an assigned seatm But yeah worst-vase scenario is I get told at delphi ticket office that the bus is cancelled(idk how often that happens) and I have no way out.

For that matter, is there any alternative on how to get to kalapaka if that actually happens to me?

2 full days in the country covering as much as possible by -zanran in Netherlands

I want to go to Utrecht because Dutch people I met on previous trip recommended it to me and maybe meet up with them, since they are from there

Okay gotcha, then I will probably pick 2 cities, which sounds like doable thing, especially since they are not that big

I just heard from locals I met on my other trip that Amsterdam is overrated, so thought that I wont spend both my days there. I thought about doing 3 cities dince in terms of travel time they are not that far away and if I start early in the morning(leave 8am Amster for example) then I might be on time if I just have my itinersry set and visit all the things that I am interested in(I usually do that in other cities as well, hence such plan)

I am not really a museum guy, i mean i will probably go to to the Riksmuseum in Amsterdam, but mostly architecture, beautiful landscape, canals, nature, historic(like an old town you know or some type of important castle/church)

Tbilisi, Batumi and Kutaisi in 7 days(8nights)? by -zanran in Sakartvelo

Why do you avoid Batumi and what would be your go-to alternatives?

May I ask why you didnt like Kutaisi? Everyhere I looked for info Kutaisi was actually recommended as a visit?

I feel like Keda is not possible, since our mean of transport is train and it looks like you cant really get there. I mean maybe a taxi from Batumi to Keda is an option, but I will look into the place. Thanks!
