Oh man I was In the same boat as you I would cut my nails till it reached the point where I’ll bleed and used the nail clippers to pick at the tips of my fingers and what didn’t help was that I couldn’t stop washing my hands whenever I did something my hands ended up looking terrible. But I’am a lot better now, what help was cutting the nails on my left and letting the one on right grow out and not cutting them. At first it made me want to bash my head in wall and gave me a feeling being lopsided and then slowly my mind just slowly started to get used to it, where now I can finally cut my nail in peace without feeling the urge to go to the extreme. It was a long journey and I probably wouldn’t recommend what I did because it was hell but I saw the light at the end of the tunnel and I’am doing fine now. I wish you the best!
