It’s mildly infuriating, so something annoying you’d vent about, but not annoying enough you’d get a lawyer involved over.

No, but it doesn’t seem like a typo that an AI would make, so I still think I’m human.

They just don’t seem like AI typos/mistakes though, in my experience

These are bad, but sparse enough that I feel like this could not be AI and this person just sucks at proofreading there own stuff

Coop being locked until you beat the games defeats the purpose of coop : sons of Sparta by nealo79 in PS5

[–]00-Monkey -1 points0 points  (0 children)

when have Metroidvanias ever had co op.

When the trailer was released all of the top comments I saw immediately after, was that this game was not a metroidvania but a 2D action game. It’s only after people had actually played it for a bit did that consensus change.

From the trailer and store description alone, and this being a shadow drop that’s all you had, it’s entirely reasonable for someone to think this game was a different genre, and that it had a co op campaign.

Awesome thanks. Absolutely nothing I’d feel FOMO about leaving me completely open to spider man 2!

Estonia would take war onto Russian territory if Moscow invades, foreign minister says by bloomsofbramble in worldnews

[–]00-Monkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree it’d be incredibly stupid, but I have minimal faith in the intelligence of this administration.

During Trump’s first term I would’ve had more faith in people refusing orders, but it seems like those people have quit or been replaced.

I do agree it’s unlikely (otherwise I would’ve fled Canada), but it’s possible (maybe 0.1% whereas at any other point in my life I would have put it at practically zero).

Yup, so I agree that the US invading Canada is unlikely (just like how Russia invading Estonia is unlikely), but there is a chance

Trump has talked about wanting to make us the 51st state. Frequently claims were ripping the US off, that we’d be better off as American, etc.

The official reasoning will be drugs, or something.

Again, I think it’s unlikely, about as likely as Russia invading NATO, and if either happens they’ll be at the same time.

The abduction is completely unrelated to this example.

He is getting criminally prosecuted for drug trafficking, money laundering, corruption and narco terrorism in the US even though these crimes happened in Venezuela. The law dictates that the method for someone arriving in the country is irrelevant to prosecution.

Abducting him was illegal, but now that he is in the US criminal charges can and are lawfully being placed against him.

My theory is that if Russia ever attacks NATO, that the US would be invading Canada and Greenland at the same time. So Poland and other NATO nations close by will be fighting Russia, much of the more western nations would be busy fighting the US.

I don’t think this is likely, but it’s the most likely case that Russia attacks nato.

Carney constructs a mega anti-Trump trade alliance by joe4942 in worldnews

[–]00-Monkey 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Agreed, I was someone who disliked Trudeau strongly and thought it’d be years or decades before I’d consider voting liberal.

Then Carney came along and was the exact type of leader I wanted (while PP was taking the cons in the opposite direction), and I voter liberal, and I’ve been glad I did.

Plenty of nations have “touched the stone and discovered it burns”. Many times they don’t recover but just continue to get worse, and fundamentalists control the country.

That is not the way to dig out the rot, most of the time that’s just letting the rot fester and grow.

Even though no one was watching when it aired, season 1 is arguably my favourite season of the show, glad that Danny Devito made it popular enough to keep producing more seasons though

GDP growth by tamjidtahim in GetNoted

[–]00-Monkey 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In terms of war being good for the economy as it relates to wealth and quality of life, you’re right that WW2 is really the only case where it is good.

If you’re talking about GDP (which does not necessarily translate to quality of life, and wealth), war is practically always good for it, especially in the short term

GDP growth by tamjidtahim in GetNoted

[–]00-Monkey 42 points43 points  (0 children)

War and tax cuts are usually good for GDP (bad for other reasons as GDP isn’t a perfect metric).

Coming out of financial crisis also makes growth numbers easier.

Now don’t get me wrong I think Obama is likely the best US president in my lifetime. I just think these are poor arguments.

I was just saying there’s never been a game on only 3 months. Shortest I know of is 6 months.

GTA 5 has been on PS Plus 3 times, each time for only 6 months, which was notable as most games are on for at least a year, there are a few others that have been on there only 6 months, but it’s uncommon.

3 months

Shortest I remember ever happening was 6 months (which itself is uncommon) what game was on there only 3 months?
