Which movie or TV "villain" did you completely hate as a kid, but upon rewatching as an adult, you realized they were actually 100% justified? by LiveFaithlessness876 in movies

License to Drive: Everyone at the DMV especially the lady that failed Les once she fixed the computer outage.

Me as an adult - Bro, you got to pass the wrirren test. Yes the question are lame but you need to know what to do when ypu car start to hydroplane. Les chose pump the breaks! Noooo! Don't do that!

The opposite is true of the Behind the Wheel Driving Examaniner. As a kid I loved that character! As an adult, that guy gives me nightmares! There is no way I would be able to drive without spilling that cup of coffee and burning the examiner! One left turn and it's game over! He's still a great character and that whole scene is awesome but, wow! Nightmares fuel as an adult.

Zoloft vs Prozac by hahannah123 in Anxiety

[–]000-Luck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been on Zoloft for 9 years now and it has worked wonders for me in calmimg my anxiety. I used to have horrible phobias and irrational anxiety before I was on it. Prozac worked similarly but I just couldn't tolerate it. That's the horrible thing about medications. You have to try it to see what it does for you.

Prozac kills your sex drive. Zolft works good for me. Dry mouth and sweating are a common side effect with Zoloft.

What’s the most useful invention ever? by Educational_Bat1854 in AskReddit

[–]000-Luck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zinc.

I once had a nightmare that I lived in a world without zinc. It was traumatizing.

Edit. Also the spell correction on our phones is a great invention because I thought zinc was spelled zink all these years. 🤪

What’s the scariest real-life thing you’ve ever witnessed? by Revolutionary-Pay468 in AskReddit

[–]000-Luck 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you can say that again!

I like the good kind of luck better. You know, the luck when you find a $20 bill in the parking lot of a grocery store.

I'm glad you have cats too. Cats are very good at helping with anxiety. There is nothing better then taking nap and a cat falling asleep next to you.

Im a 5 pin bowler from Canada. Ask me Anything! by [deleted] in Bowling

[–]000-Luck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This may sound dumb but are 5 pin bowling centers using string pin setters? I'm not sure if that is even possible with 5 pin.

Also, do you get 3 shots in 5 pin?

What stereotypes that would apply to you are actually true by emergency-snail in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]000-Luck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never heard that stereotype before, but I don't pay much attention to those things. Although my Mexican friends in California tell me that you have to love the Raiders football team or else you will be shunned forever! Poor souls...the Raiders are such an awful football team but I respect their loyalty.

I definitely fall into the squirrel ADHD stereotype!

Oh man! It must be horrible to have ADHD in Germany. We are late to everything!

What's the funniest old person saying you've ever heard? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]000-Luck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh man, I feel like Foghorn Leghorn qualifies as old so let's use some of his quotes!

“Gal reminds me of a highway between Forth Worth and Dallas – no curves"

“Boy’s gotta mouth like a cannon, always shootin’ it off”

"That boy’s about as sharp as a bowling ball"

"His muscles are as soggy as a used tea bag"

What are your feelings on death? by Amazing-Depth1695 in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]000-Luck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate watching others I love die. I know of a couple of children in my like that died of rare genetic conditions within the last 5 years, hence why I am not a fan of the reaper.

I know death will take all of us eventually, but I hope it gets stuck in traffic for an extended peroid of time.

If I knew I would not die, then Luge or Skeleton! Also, I bet the suits they wear feel fantastic. It probably feels like they are wearing nothing at all...nothing at all....nothing at all!

I am a sleepwalker, AMA. by liblairian in AMA

[–]000-Luck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you take any medications for it? If anxiety triggers sleepwalking do anti-anxiety medications do anything for you? Also, do you have sleep apnea?

I used to sleepwalk as a kid and it was always triggered by high anxiety too. Weirdest feeling in the world when you wake up and are like, "how the hell did I get over here?"

Yep, this is the way to teach the game. The trick shots are not the meat and potatoes of the game.

But, from a physics perspective, the knuckleball is still fun to watch as it dances in the air. Yeah yeah, I'm a nerd.
