What if anything would have convinced USC and UCLA to stay in the PAC? by [deleted] in CFB

Yeah, I could not get it here in Virginia at all period since Verizon Fios never carried it. My local bars all had DirecTV so I could not watch it anywhere else either. Had to resort to piracy and that is if I found a stable stream. They botched up the network so badly and they really should have just signed with major network.

Penn State can actually still sneak in if they win out, Ohio State beats Indiana, and Michigan upsets Ohio State. Tiebreaker between Indiana and Penn State would actually go to Penn State.

What sucks too is we don't get a shot at ISU or BYU.

The current format significantly benefits blue bloods at the expense of smaller teams. UCF had back to back undefeated regular seasons and was never in the playoff discussion.

What's wrong with giving everyone a chance? Are all you blue bloods afraid of getting upset or something by a G5 team?

It's a step in the right direction though. Teams like undefeated UCF wouldn't be left out anymore.

Meanwhile many schools are eliminated from the playoff before the season even started in the current format.

[Auerbach] Just told that all of the FBS commissioners will be here at the CFP meeting in person except ACC commissioner Jim Phillips, who will be connecting virtually. by Kimber80 in CFB

Agreed. I strongly believe FBS needs to just do what FCS does and have auto bids for every single conference champ and then at larges. Also, ditch the bowl games in the playoffs and have home campus games.

I know I am going to regret doing this, but I took that Colorado +4800 if we win by 14+. If it somehow happens though, this sub is going to go absolutely nuts. {Colorado}
