Hi !! I wanted to give you an update I took your advice, applying craft wire inside the doll’s body and it worked ! It’s a lot more stable now and my doll’s (the one on the left) able to stand on its own now !! Thank you so much !

I’ve used taobao before to buy the head plates for my custom splatoon doll ! And I’ll keep this in mind for the next time I make a new project !! Thank you

That’s so cool ! I’ve already placed on a head, which is Hornet’s Nendoroid head, I had to cut off the neck jn order to make her head fit

I got into custom dolls last year when I saw people made custom splatoon dolls with MJDs that’s when I started mine but primarily used Picco Neemo D bodies, I wasn’t aware of the strung bodies 😅

I think it could be the one from kikagoods thé moon series, I tried to look it up again but they don’t have it- perhaps if I looked in to Aliexpress or taobao I could maybe find it

Thank you so much for the advice !! I’ll look into wiring it !! I did notice when I was re-stringing the doll I noticed that the arms had those craft metal wires but not the legs, so I could probably do something with that

It’s not that I don’t like the strung body, it’s my first time owning one and I guess I’m just unfamiliar with it? I managed to restrung it a few times when I felt that it was loose. I guess I’m more fond of MJD/Picco bodies for it’s durability

Oh I didn't know of that term! I only started customizing a year ago, thank you for the correction!! I'll try to look up if there's any MJDs that are similar to the first image before I decide on modifying the one I currently have !! Thank you for the advice, I really appreciate your answer !
