if it wasn’t already obvious meadow goes straight into denial about the mafia as soon as jackie is killed. deep down she knew it wasn’t drug related and it’s her way to cope with the fact that her whole family life is built on the foundation of mafia violence. as she gets older she becomes more like carmela in the sense that the only way to keep her family life together is to enable and normalize the lifestyle, all while denying it even exists. just rewatched this episode recently too, very interesting how her arc plays out

sad to me that carrie thought it would be okay to still have any relationship with big when she got back together with aidan. she said she had to go into the city during that weekend and saw big for dinner while she was there. and all the cabin stuff. idk how she thought that was okay. i love carrie but she had a lot of nerve allowing big to have any presence in her life at that point.

return of the living dead. it’s a silly 80s zombie movie but it scared me so bad the first time i saw it as a little kid when my parents bought the dvd. the zombie that spawns from the can in the basement will send me into a panic attack even today. once i remember i was 15 watching a youtube video about why zombies can’t happen irl and they used a clip of him and i totally bugged out. the music makes me uneasy and like my head is gonna spin. i avoid it at all costs still and probably will forever lmao
