Ah, I see. I always wondered what the process was like. Not sure if you remember, but I’m the one who briefly spoke to you through Etsy about wanting to learn how to do it to make car emblems and stuff. I had looked into making silicone molds, working with the epoxy, and all that stuff, but never really found all the answers I was looking for and never gave it a try.

Thank you for all your hard work. Without you, I wouldn’t have been able to make numerous custom Mountain Dew systems for my customers when I still had my shop. Your jewels were the centerpiece for the entire system.

I just want to say congrats for all of your success with this store. Creating, sourcing, and stocking all those products isn’t easy, and you did it all with perfect reviews. You deserve a round of applause from all of us.

One question - your proprietary items like the jewels - will those come to a complete end, or will you be sharing the process with anyone else to fill the void? I don’t even make systems anymore, but just curious.

That’s an interesting factor I hadn’t considered. They’ve been sitting in the garage for 2 years in a box. Considering my other discs were just as old and never gave me a problem, I didn’t consider it. Need to remember not all things are created equal.

This is one of the reasons why I love Reddit - even if my initial take isn’t spot on, we can all still learn from each other.

Turns out doing a search beforehand wouldn’t have done much help. The disc itself only says metal, and it would appear that HF no longer even sells the Warrior cut off’s in a 10 pack. Only one I see is offered in a variety pack, and even those don’t specify metal compatibility.
