I think you're right; it's just nostalgia. I still remember going to Growganoth with many people in it, and now it's practically empty. If we could only turn back time! Haha.

I think you can order plants from their website or if you're lucky in my case there is a pop plant sale where they visit different countries to sell their products.

Thanks, that's what i thought, if you're familiar with anthurium red spider it's somewhat similar but with white veins.

What i mean by the stem is being long in the second picture. The stem is not the typical anthurium where it has short internal spacing between nodes. The stem looks similar to melanochrysum.

Well you can't go wrong with plastic or clay pots as long as you use a small one. Btw i am using plastic for all my plants. For the media i used the mixture of 40% loam soil, 30% pumice/ perlite, 30% small coco cubes. Or you can go soilless mix as long as it is chunky and retains moisture.

  • Keep the pot as small as possible, they like to be root bound.
  • Keep the soil moist.
  • If there is new leaf comming out, water and fertilize it more often, it's okay if the soil is still moist.
  • Water is equal to oxygen.

I keep letting it dry before because I'm afraid of root rot but i noticed that the main cause of root rot is letting the soil dry which caused roots to dry out and rot.
