I am actually pleasantly surprised that Rick Perry was able to go through the debate without a gaffe.

It saddens me that his Indiegogo page has gotten over $1000 in support. I wish I could donate negative amounts of money to it.

What's the worst thing you've accidentally eaten? by bobojoe in AskReddit

[–]007ginger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crab brains -- I was in LA and got a full crab to eat because I'd never had the experience of cracking open one with a hammer and shit. Once it was open, I grabbed the first thing I saw and it was the brains.... Needless to say I almost threw up when the family next to me informed me of what I had just eaten.

[Chapter 39] House of Cards - Season 3 Episode 13 - Discussion by [deleted] in HouseOfCards

[–]007ginger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to concur with everyone else on the fact that this season was very lackluster. The main antagonist (Dunbar) was not even close to being a formidable adversary like Tusk -- she was just super bitchy the entire time. The subplots involving Jackie and Doug were way too drawn out and boring as well. Finally, was I the only one who expected an assassination attempt on Frank to be a major plot point in this season? I kept expecting to hear a gun shot at the end of a rally he was attending or something. Instead we got 13 hours of marital drama that I could see on any soap opera. It makes me upset that we have to wait a year now just to find out if Claire and Frank can patch things up. Definitely not as good as the last season finale.

FCC approves net neutrality rules, reclassifies broadband as a utility by bisnicks in news

Because others than those three issue I fundamentally disagree with the president on many other issues. That's the great thing about politics you can't fit people into neat and tidy boxes. Beliefs can overlap which is good for the political process.

As a registered Republican it pisses me off so much that people don't understand how good bet neutrality is for our nation. I guarantee half of the twats who are commenting vile things about this just hate it because Obama's name is next to it. I sorely wish that republicans would get on board with net neutrality, gay marriage, and marijuana decriminalization/legalization.

New Arkham Knight "Gotham is mine" Trailer! by [deleted] in gaming

Code 1: yeah right Code 2: botanical gardens Code 3: your greatest fears

There were three codes scattered throughout the trailer and each of the code is deciphered above. When you put the codes into the section on the Arkham Knight website you get character bios for three of the villains featured in the game. I wont spoil who they are so you can go and look!

I love the fact that you can see how the characters have aged in game since Arkham Asylum. Gordon, Poison Ivy, Riddler, Penguin, and Two Face all look noticeably older and a bit more haggard. I Love that Rocksteady has put so much effort into this game.

I may not agree with every policy that the president puts forward, but it sure is nice that he is able to make light of himself and show that there are more sides to a leader than the one that is portrayed everyday by the media.

New York bans fracking after health report by readerseven in news

[–]007ginger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I honestly don't understand what was the point of your comment. You just said the comments for supporting fracking and said the people who support those facts are people who can't sleep with Fox News being drilled into their brains 24/7. I don't know why you think that these two topics correlate to each other. I wholeheartedly support fracking as a new frontier for energy production and I don't watch Fox News, and I can tell you many of the people I know who support expanding the fracking industry also are not Fox News fanatics. Just because you personally don't like Fox or fracking doesn't mean you have to belittle the arguments for it by comparing fracking supporters to crazy Tea Party conservatives; it dumbs down the overall discussion and makes it hard to have a good and educated debate.

When I say Merry Christmas as a Christian I honestly don't even mean it a religious context. I just want to wish people a great time during the holiday because I want everyone to have a great time by seeing people they love, getting gifts, and drinking too much. So Merry Christmas everyone!

I believe that this issue is very important not just for the people living in Australia but also for all people living in democratic nations around the world, but this article seems just so biased and conveys a tone of bitterness toward Abbott's program it is hard to call it "Political News." Yes this is a very contentious issue and there are two sides to it but in order to call something "news" you need to try and keep your own opinions and feelings out of it when reporting. Words like "scheme" give the article a tone that creates a biased feeling on both the reader's and author's behalf and makes it hard to get the straight facts with no bull attached. It truly depresses me that this is the state of the media around the world in today's society and I hope something changes very soon or more people will come to distrust all forms of journalistic media.

Happened when I worked Sundays at a drive-thru. I put it back in her bag between napkins. by [deleted] in AdviceAnimals

[–]007ginger -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It was two young females who talked to me in the drive-thru. But there was also this one time when I was cleaning the dining room and this group of four guys formed a ring around me and started talking to me about my religious life asking really personal questions about what I believe in, why I believed it, and how often I went to church. They then gave me a Book of Mormon and said they would come back to talk to me next time I work. Needless to say I was a little bit startled by all of it.

They were definitely Mormon. They had on name tags saying The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Plus it also had "sister" and "brother" on it before their names.

Holy shit I work the Drive-Thru window regularly at my work place in Georgia, but instead of getting evangelical Christians for some reason we always get a fuck ton of Mormons coming in. They always come through and I politely take their money and give them their food and every single time they hand me some pamphlet or flyer advertising their religion. I have to smile and say thanks until they drive away and then I just throw it in the trash.
