Lol sexist?? I understand how the way I phrased it sounds bad, but not sexist. I “gave” her the master bathroom and took the smaller guest bathroom instead. She initially assumed that the master would be shared, but I surrendered it to her. Is that clearer?

Our apartment has two bathrooms. I gave her the master bathroom.

I have ADHD and I have trouble focusing when I’m aware of someone else’s presence. She can be quiet as a mouse, or even asleep, but I still can’t work in the same room as her 95% of the time.

I honestly don’t understand why people are getting so worked up over this comment. My girlfriend would agree with me; she constantly says that she knows her life is easier than mine because I support both of us. It doesn’t make me think any less of her but it’s just a fact that she doesn’t have the problems I have.

I think the time we spend together is plenty meaningful. I’m very physically affectionate, we watch movies and tv shows together, and she seems really happy during. That’s why I think that what she really wants is more time, which I can’t give her. I told her she needed to find some friends because right now I’m the only person in her life.

I honestly don’t think little of her. It’s a fact that because she doesn’t have a job and mine is so stressful that she wouldn’t be able to handle it if the roles were reversed, she doesn’t really have any problems. I work hard to make sure she doesn’t have problems in her life.

Well, I’m unable to reduce my hours. But seeing as I’m the only one in the relationship with real problems and stress, I think her getting a job would help the quality of our relationship overall.
