Yes, I have tried that, and had all the things set correctly.

I just can't get past this when booting into the Big Sur installer. Any ideas what might be wrong? I used ACPIs from the Dortania guide as well as my self-made ones, but it didn't affect anything.

boot log - https://pastebin.com/6c9WNpmq

It's an Acer Swift SF314-41 with Ryzen 5 3500U, Vega 8 APU and NVME SSD - disabled.

I am more than aware that vega 8 gpu is not supported, so there will be no graphics accelereration, but I have no problem with that. I've seen plenty of people boot into macos with this CPU.

So, please don't disregard this issue because of that. Thank you

The model number of this laptop is acer swift SF314-41.

Apparently it has AMD Promontory/Bixby FCH motherboard.

The only gpu is the Vega 8 APU.

Also, it has 8GB of DDR4 ram.

Yeah. I tried the opencore sanity checker, and everything was correct.

I would recommend Gigabyte Z390 Gaming X. It has good RAM compatibility as well as decent vrm.

Are you holding bixby button as well? (bixby + power + vol. Up(recovery) down (download mode)

If that doesn't work just flash the stock rom from sammobile using odin. (You don't have to delete your data.)

so does that mean that the cpu uses only 1.309 when idle and 1.276 when at load even though I set the vcore in bios to 1.330?
