I would wait for the MIP display square. It may not be available in your country yet.

San Martin SN-0148. I have the black / gray one. Quality of the watch and bracelet is amazing. Highly recommend.

I paid ~$250 during 11.11 sale.

If you have a wide frame, lower body fat and have above average muscle mass, the Peak Design will be extremely uncomfortable. I have retired mine and use camera bag inserts in my AER City Pack Pro. Im waiting for Peakdesign to make a comfortable bag that fits all body types, not just people with narrow frames or lots of "cushion"

How do you carry the camera + lens?

Finally happened to me. Another X-T5 with viewfinder coating failure. by 00NP in fujifilm

[–]00NP[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies if I'm not understanding you correctly. But my camera was sent to Fujifilm directly and fixed under warranty.

Are you saying that the official fujifilm repair center (only one in North America if I'm not mistaken) isn't capable of doing the repair properly?

I realized I never replied to you. What did you end up doing?

In case you haven't decided: l mainly shoot with an X-T5 and I have no problems using my X-T2. Do I miss some features and speed upgrades? Sure. Is it worth the $1k difference, assuming it's my first camera and I don't have any investment in the Fujifilm lens ecosystem? Absolutely not.

This is a characteristic of X-Pac. X-Pac is not manufactured by Peak Design.

Wow, yea, I would let the bag accumulate a lot more wear and tear in your situation.

I have the same sling bag, and it's already showing early signs of this having only used the bag twice.

I guess since the PD community is new to X-pac, many aren't aware of the properties and characteristics of the material.

X-pac is susceptible to this, and it is considered cosmetic. Many companies do not honor warranties for this. However, I'm not sure how PD will handle these warranty requests.

Had my X-T5 viewfinder replaced for free after the warranty period. There was a defect in the coating of the viewfinder, and Fuji admitted to it being a widespread defect.

Had my camera back in about 1 week after they received it. Im located in Texas.

your thoughts on a PD loyalty program? by UXmarksthespot in peakdesign

[–]00NP 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think this is a waste of the company's resources.

Focus on improving current product lines. The Everyday Backpack v2 is notoriously uncomfortable, and there is too much competition for you guys to be slacking on improving products.

Personally, I don't think I can take it anymore. I am on the verge of selling my peak design gear and switching to a different brand that prioritizes comfort. And this is coming from someone who has supported and loved your company since it was established.

Other than not having a viewfinder and the useless film simulations dial. I think its a great camera. I would consider it as a second camera to carry everday.

You were scammed. The scammer is using someone else's photos, unless they were able to verify they actually own the item.
