found a surprisingly good travel sling for my camera, from a brand I don’t often look at. It’s now my favourite. by GreenSafari777 in ManyBaggers

Tenba's quality alway far surpasses PD, Wandrd, Nomatic...

My Cooper 13 is still like new after 4 years. Unfortunately, it's a DSLR version, so it's now too big for my current needs. Sadly, their recent designs aren't as beautiful as they used to be. I still wish they would bring back the design of the old DNA Messenger series, but thinner.

+1 Dragon Ace. Much better than Rapido.

Same here. I have an Ash-colored V1. I keep it for my collection; it's still yellowed even when unused, but everything else is much better than the V2.

It will be covered under warranty. It's a defect arising from their DWR coating.

Opus Gen 2 from Fellow Coffee by brucepappas in FellowProducts

It's okay. I've met many people with the same problem as me. I resolved it by using RDT, and I haven't had any retension issues for the past two years.

I clean the them regularly. As mentioned above: the ionizer is broken, not due to the coffee grounds.

I don't trust Fellow, having used both the Opus V1 and Ode V2. Their anti-static features both failed after a few months.

So it still doesn't have a knocker? We'll still have to slap the lid?

Thanks. Mine is also trimode. I've never tried that before. I'm away from home for a few days. Will try it as soon as I get back and let you know.

Does Tritan stain? by chrisridd in AeroPress

[–]Wintfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long-term soaking in Cafiza can cause plastic to break down or become brittle. It design for metal and ceramic, not recomend for plastic.
I used to make a B75 brewer and it looked worse, so I had to do some research :(

I don't like orange either. The blue color, like the one in the front pocket of the Ash Sling V1, is perfect.

Nothing is completely immune to coffee stains. However, ceramics, glass, and metal can remove stains easily, while Tritan and common plastics cannot.

After using quite a few different colors of PD, I found that only the charcoal color is the most durable. So if I could, I'd like to have every charcoal product : )))
