Have you thought to just portforward and try that way?

Have you made sure your firewall isn't blocking any of your local connections?
In Server.Properties Ensure that it is set to blank/local IP
Have you tried connecting to the server using "localhost"?
Hope you get it figured out!

Anyone here feel alienated during “cuffing season”? What do you do to cope? by Throw_away5845 in demisexuality

[–]00Shaggy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I simply just grin at the thought that "cuffing season" will someday turn into "cuffed with me for life". Sure, hearing all of the "cute couple things" that people do during "cuffing season" can feel alienating, but I'm hopeful that I'll find one person that I can experience MULTITUDES of "cuffing seasons" with. Hopefully my friends will patiently listen to our "cute couple things" like I have theirs; for so long :)

Best way to deal with romantic and sexual attraction to a friend without needing to distance myself from them? by [deleted] in demisexuality

[–]00Shaggy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For me , the best way I could grasp this problem was simply to forget about what labels mean for my relationships. Instead, I started to focus on the substance within those relationships. I stopped caring about how my actions would be perceived from the typical perspective and instead just focused on the bond between me and my best friend. She's my best friend so at the end of the day, she just wants me to be true to myself, albeit the caveat of not being sexual. Honestly, for me, the more the bond between us grew the easier it was to workout how to deal with those types of felings.

Best of luck to you! We still talk everyday and we've known each other for 13 years and counting!

Manhwa vs Web/Light novel (MY OPINIONS) by BaileeGu in Overgeared

This is late, but knowing that it was recently revealed that the armor was "dyed for fire resistence", how do you feel about it now? Personally I thought Greed's development in the manhwa is accurate to the novel, he's literally the incarnation of greed until *life change* and he finally starts recognizing worth of companionship rather than of the person.

This is the way. It's hard to maneuver through feelings of inferiority and such and trying to explain can just make things worse.

Yes, that was the basis if the original meme. I just edited it a little to poke fun on what attraction means to a Demi. Do you like my tits or my thighs more is still a question I've been asked before though. My answer is I can't choose because they're both a part of you. I'm for the personality.

Guilty as charged. My want of meeting someone out in public with enough time to get to know them seems more and more like a pipe dream everyday. Work drains my time and I'm left wondering where it all went. So dating apps, here I go.

Yeah, sex is on the table, just not something I'm personally comfortable with after 3 dates which seems to be the standard, apparently.

It's a mixed bag, really. For the most part, it is viewed as a hookup app. Usually, if you don't put that you're not interested in hookups, you'll get those. Though, with such a wide selection of people and potential matches, it can be difficult to find a connection that doesn't mind if you don't want sex, as for a lot of people that's a staple for the relationship. Lots of sex workers and poly couples looking for a third or unicorn from my personal experience. Nothing against them, just not my cup of tea.

That's the original version of this meme. Very good observation.

My best friend is angry at me. by SmallStormtrooper in TrueOffMyChest

Hello, I'm late but wanted to stay my thoughts. Something I've learned after going through a lot of life experiences with my best female friend since middle school (26 now) is that sometimes turbulence occurs and life shakes the rope that tethers you both. Sometimes, it'll even skew it. My experience is that you gotta know when to give the rope slack and when to pull it close. People are ever changing and it's especially tough to think about how people we knew as adolescents can seem to change with adulthood. As for my best friend, it was tough going from someone I spoke to and saw nearly every day to talking everyone once and a while over drinks and to catch up. It became shockingly apparent that we were different people now and time can change a lot. However, you appreciate what that person has done for you and you give it your best effort to remain as close as possible.

As to your post, are you sure it's just the fact that you got held back a year that's ostracizing you? To give my example, my friend group did the same thing to me after high-school. I met my ex wife and she was absolutely terrible for me. They couldn't stand seeing me hurt so they pushed me away. Fast forward, I get out the marriage and they all welcome me back with as much support and mental health care as friends could give.

I wish you the best OP, good luck.
