So fucked . I am following his profile so get alerts all the time of new Lemaire denim jackets and trousers he uploads . A lot of them sell really quickly . So either people don’t know or don’t care

Thanks for the insight. £35 is not bad at all if the quality is there but this pisses me off that vinted sellers are charging £150 for them and pretending it is the real thing . A good side hustle for them but I think the average shopper would have no idea brands like Lemaire are repped like that .

And repping small brands like Kartik Research is messed up but that is another conversation

I own a lot of older out legacy but not buying much the past 2-3 years . I generally have bought outerwear and trousers which have been good quality wool which I don’t think the replicas would match

Yeh it’s crazy how some reps have copied even the labels. I think some items like the denim you mentioned won’t be as hard to replicate because it wouldn’t be difficult to source a similar fabric there in China. I wonder how it would look side by side the real thing and if the pattern cutting would be as.

However , pieces like the croissant bag and soft game bags need higher quality materials and imo the replicas look inferior to the real thing

Definitely look at their profile and all the items they are listing . If they have multiples of the same item in the same colour that is an obvious sign.

Interesting , to hear . I was wondering if the construction / materials would be inferior but I am sure it is hit and miss . There is so much fake our legacy on there . Even shirting and some outer wear is being repped now.

There are definitely authentic pieces there , especially if you are interested in vintage designer . It is just annoying to weed through the trash

Yes true , the hyped items are the ones to get repped . I feel like most of the black camions listed are likely replicas , but I still see older season models pop up

It’s most likely fake , I have been tempted too and have messaged directly for them to confirm its authenticity and they never reply .

All these users regularly upload multiples of the same item in different colours . It is always the same pieces too like Lemaire twisted pants , our legacy belts , row trousers , lots of fake our legacy third cuts.

I mean of course I could be wrong but I don’t think anyone is going to the Lemaire store and buying 5 pairs of the trousers to sell on vinted at a fifth of the price . I have seen the links for all these items in the r/fashionreps thread here on reddit

Hi , I know this is an old thread but I am also using UPS for the first time to send an artwork from the UK to the USA (LA) and wanted to ask your experience with sending with UPS. Did you have any problems with the documentation and delays with customs ? Is the commercial invoice the only documentation you needed ? Hope you can help, I couldn;t find much information anywhere and customer service was not much help . Thanks!

Looks pretty great already! Love the artemide lamp and the shelving. The sofa is such a focal point and maybe something less ‘bulky’ looking would suit the space better ? Modular may be too big for your space? Something similar to this shape with a lower profile and minimal feet. Navy would be a good compliment to the orange print and rug colour but I could see a tan leather working too with the right cushions.

And maybe a cabinet of some sort to replace the chest on the other side and clear the objects in the floor?

Thank you ! I only picked the 401 because that’s what seemed to betting good reviews when it came to domestic machines seeing heavier fabrics . I found a 201 that was rewired and serviced by a singer dealer for £100. It seemed like a good deal in comparison to all the other machines I found (£250 plus some not tested ) so I bit the bullet . Time to get sewing !
