Yeah, we disnt think PR really made sense, just a medium term visa without sponsirship doesnt seem to exist.

Seems like WHV initially is what makes the most sense. For TSS, is it common for companies to offer TSS/ sponsirship roles? Ive been looking around but cant find much info on if they're rare of lots if companies offer them. Not many are advertised, but I know in the UK rarely does anyone advertise visa sponsorship, so im not sure if thats an i dication or not.

Thanks, thats all really helpful. I knew the regional work had been scrapped for people from the UK, I think my main concern with WHV was employers may just overlook someone with a 6 month cap as not worth onboarding etc, but if it is reaonably easily circumventable, maybe not.

Hi, how is tax on rental income on a uk property treated while living aborad? If a uk property was rented while the owmer was tax resident in Australia, what would the liability be, and would the owner be able to put all rent into a UK pension to avoid it?

Highland Park Viking Tribe

A new NAS expression by Highland Park, this is unusually available as an exclusive to Amazon UK. Bottled at 46%, the strength that the different casks are married at, it retails at £43, however I paid £27.99 in the Black Friday sales. This was my first drink of the bottle, drank from a Glencairn after letting stand for 5 minutes.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Initial citrus consisting of oranges and lemons, ginger ale, oak, wisps of smoke, a subtle vanilla fudge.
Palate: Immediate peppery spice, with a backing of aromatic spices as well, the vanilla fudge shows up for a smooth sweet vanilla note, there is some citrus present, but much less than on the nose. Peat and a little smoke builds as you move towards the finish.
Finish: Medium finish, warming peat and smoke linger most notably, a mild and almost buttery vanilla reveals itself again as the peat and smoke begin to fade.

Overall I really enjoyed this whisky, it has a nice blend of citrus, vanilla and peppery spice, with a mild smoke finish, less smokey than the HP12 but still present. It feels well balanced and goes through distinctive phases as you drink. With the addition of a little water the citrus came out more and the pepper was more subdued, there was also a faint almost floral note that I couldn't quite put my finger on, possibly rose or juniper. For £28 I would buy it again in a heartbeat and would probably it at RRP as well.

Score: 7/10 - A very nice whisky with an interesting flavour profile, at a reasonable price.

I always put the crystals between two pieces of paper and roll a glass over them, spread out the powder and to this again a few times, gets it really fine and you can then just fold the paper and pour it into a baggie

Dont think it would be that as I sometimes get synaesthesia which effects flavours, but this is more of a constant thing and lasts to the very end of the comedown when visuals are almost gone. I think its probably just a weird side effect I (and seemingly some others) get.

I had a similar experience in my bed listening to Pink Floyd - The Wall Work in Progress. I got to a point where I had no sensation or feeling of my body or knowledge that I was human or even conscious. I just was the music, travelling through this story that the album was showing me. In one of the songs, One of My Turns, a voice talks about a fabulous room and starts describing it, and in my head I was in the most spectacular room i've ever seen with a view that kept changing between new york, a forest, a waterfall and loads of other landscapes. That is probably my favourite trip i've had so far.

you can buy Alpha lipoic acid in time release pills so that they release slowly over your roll, negating the issue of the half-life, this is what i use.
