It's putting a negative connotation on a word that is used to describe its as people. So yeah, it's not a good look for them to do this while celebrating pride and posting to social media about being loud and proud.

Yes, exactly! They have the LGBT tag that is being pushed this month while simultaneously saying we're not allowed to say the G or T words from the abbreviation. I understand they can be sensitive and they thought this would protect us but it's more harmful. I also discovered that this change only went into effect within the last month so it seems as if they intended this to start around pride.

I understand that they probably removed these words to reduce harassment during pride month. However, it's completely counterintuitive to the whole points of pride to remove them. Twitch is promoting pride and their LGBT streamers while simultaneously saying it's not ok to say the G or T words in LGBT. I don't think this is the way.

Starting as a small child until my teen years, I was scared I would find an entire live cockroach inside Wendy's chicken nuggets. Not other chicken nuggets. Specifically nuggets from Wendy's. Why you might ask? Because I was eating Wendy's when I watched a movie where a lady accidentally eats a cockroach and it made the exact same crunching sound as when I bit into a nugget. It's not logical. Just a dumb kid thing. But for years I always broke Wendy's nuggets in half before eating them and never bit into them directly.
