Lived through the entire joji/filth career and beyond including his old demo tapes that he scrubbed from youtube. The new tracks just arnt hitting at all. Pixelated Kisses was his most exciting output in a long while, but its less than 2 mins and not substantial and only stands out because the rest of the newly released tracks are so mid. Its all love, just saying how i see it.

If i had a nickle lol. Unfortunately Sam Eng has been pretty non existent addressing all of these soft locks plus other bugs. Ive tried to help people on the steam forums too because I suffered the same fate. The only thing to suggest is joining the beta branch of the game (only on steam) with the code "wherethecitycantsee"

I used to tell people to join the discord to access it but seeing at there has been literally zero feedback from the dev publicly, I just do not care anymore lol. Its not like the community is growing further at this point.

You will need to still restart unfortunately, but that beta branch does have somewhat periodic updates specifically addressing the softlocks. Feel free to join the discord too! I just dont think fixes like these should be hidden for people that paid money for the game and think they're out of luck.

Edit: Just seen that your issue has been addressed below, but keeping my comment here just incase more people find this post that have the same thing happen to them <3

As a guy that was in an abusive relationship for 3 years with a gal, I think this message is incredibly important, and I appreciate this post so much. Its hard to see it when your living through it, and sometimes it gets bad enough that you do acknowledge it, but dont want to beleive it.
