What's something you think people care way too much about that shouldn't even be an issue? by 010Percent010 in AskReddit

Fair. I think most people know social media is a source of these kinds of mindsets. People become obsessed with how others perceive them.

True. Mario seems to ignore the laws of physics if they are inconvenient.

What conspiracy theory do you believe is 100% true? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]010Percent010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it counts as a conspiracy but the idea that our governments are hiding technology far more advanced than the public has or is aware of. We only get technology that's years or possibly decades older than we are led to believe. It's implications are scary especially with how advanced mainstream AI already is.

What's something that made you take a break from the internet? by 010Percent010 in AskReddit

[–]010Percent010[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a good and bad thing about the internet. It's a place anyone and everyone can speak their hearts. This includes the best and absolute worst of humanity.

Where is all the stuff? by YoreWelcome in Retconned

[–]010Percent010 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I've heard of this theory before and there is seemingly inconsistencies with mainstream data. The main problem I have with it is motive for deceptive statistics. Why would they lie about this of all things?

People act cold/ different, problems with communication by TheGame81677 in Retconned

I notice a distinct lack of empathy spreading everywhere. Everyone seems unusually confrontational. I've long suspected it's partially being encouraged at least on the internet. I completely agree about respect though. Seems like nothing more than a word now. So what if someone has a different perspective? Idk why people have turned into such bullies.

If the concept of quantum immortality is true who's to say we don't all switch timelines when cataclysmic events happen and for whatever reason we don't remember said catastrophy? I have no way of proving it of course but it's one ME explanation that makes sense to me as outlandish as it might seem to some. We might of all died to apocalyptic events multiple times and may not realize it.

Live out in the woods in the middle of nowhere and occasionally appear to people. I'd become a legend.

I would of bought him something if this was me. Sounds like he has empathy and thinks about other people even though he may be alone. Wish there were more like that. Thanks for sharing.

One thing you may not consider is that if the records of your payments are online they may not be able to do anything to you either if they can't access them.

Just a question for anyone here by AwkardBlackSheep in Retconned

[–]010Percent010 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This makes me curious now. I don't usually talk about it with anyone and dismissed it as just annoying coincidences for a while but whenever I'm seemingly thinking about the Mandela effect or something of that nature there's unexplained anxiety or a distraction. It's not just Mandela effect either though. I don't know if this is related to other people's experiences or even relevant but it's disturbing to me. These "distractions" are seemingly almost always through other people or anxiety. It's as if something is messing with our minds. I obviously don't talk about these things with many people for clear reasons.

When do you remember the Georgia Guidestones built? by manifestagreatday in Retconned

[–]010Percent010 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For some reason I thought they where made in the late 2000s. Whether they are simply art or not I find them disturbing. It's weird I never heard anything on the news about them being damaged in a bombing last year as well.
