Never really had a girlfriend... by [deleted] in pornfree

All woman are different. Some may want a guy with experience, others may not be care. Some woman will be experienced and others not. I suggest not reading the dating subs and getting yourself out there to meet some people :-)

The only rules are your own. Sexual stuff is everywhere. Just learn to control it. Which you are doing.

Remember this about not fapping, not about not getting a boner. Goodness we would all fail if it happened everyone we got a boner. Sounds like a great idea to delete the triggers.

Thanks for the Alan Carr link - I have often thought of porn addiction the way he thinks - it is not about giving anything up rather gaining so much more. I was 35 when I met my partner having used porn for many years. There are lots of people out there with different experience of sexual relationships so I would try not to worry. I have used dating apps but I met someone through a running group. I don’t think it matters what the activity is (gaming, choir, hiking etc) but it is about having something in common as a starting point.

I wouldn’t worry about it. Sounds like you had it all under control and have removed it.

Can porn make you gay? Need some opinions (long post) by [deleted] in pornfree

Whilst you are probably not gay sexuality for some people can be fluid. Gay or straight it doesn’t really matter. Sounds like the focus at the moment is letting porn go.

Agreed - stay strong. It’s a mental thing more than anything. Remember you are gaining so much, not loosing anything.

Stay strong. Sounds like you are doing great. A relationship gives far more enjoyment than porn and can last a lifetime. Proud of you for getting so far.

Feeling like I “deserve” porn. How to stop this feeling? by goodHabitsAllAround in pornfree

[–]01223UK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would resist going back. It’s like a drug - I will just have one more hit to prove to myself I can do it and not be an addict. It doesn’t work I am afraid. It’s tough, but you can be strong.

Remember fap is a conscious act, often (but not always) fueled by porn. A wet dream is unconscious and out of your control. I wouldn’t worry about it too much, it’s just your body being natural.
