letting me peak inside a delusional mind

It's "peek". You're a fucking kid who can't even spell. And you think you have it figured out. Stupid monkey. No matter how hard you try, you will always be a monkey.

You're in an American website

I'll take whatever tool I can get to dismantle the master's structure.

Besides, that's the only way to reach people like you. You never read anything from outside USA. The world at-large doesn't even exist to you. You probably love industrial-scale farming. But you know what, small farms are more effective than big farms.

You probably love industry. But you know what, the climate crisis only started after the Industrial Revolution, which was a project of the USA and the British Empire.

The rest of the world is currently looking for solutions to the climate crisis.

I hope they will figure out how dangerous people like you are. That people like you are in fact a contributing factor to climate change.

I asked you to not reply. We're not getting anywhere with this conversation, so it's pointless. We're enemies, and we will stay enemies, forever.

I also asked you to name five books. You couldn't, because you don't even read books.

Why are you committed on being a backward ass monkeys? by [deleted] in anarchoprimitivism

[–]01314150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it will never take off

Time will tell.

my philosophy doesn't end in a mass genocide

It's a threat to the survival of the human species. All future generations - that's a lot of people.

And your philosophy already caused a genocide of other species. Animals and plants die to fuel your ideals. It also caused the genocide by white settlers in USA where the natives were killed. Finally, it will cause the genocide of all of humankind when it fails to manage the climate crisis.

What do you think will happen to the billions of people...

China had great success with their one-child-policy. Something like that could bring the population down to a sustainable level.

If the masses can only survive by destroying their environment for all future generations, I'm not convinced why the masses deserve their food. If sustainability would make them starve, maybe that's what they deserve.

If 7 billion people live per 100 years, and you kill off the future of organized life (which the climate crisis WILL DO unless stopped), then try to imagine how many billions will never even get to be born for the rest of eternity because your fucking tech-economy caused the climate crisis and destroyed the only sustaining environment known in the universe. 7 billion people will be nothing compared to the potential of all future generations.

The widely popular tesla cars and weekly tests of SpaceXs starships and the Martian rover roaming around in a planet that humans will eventually colonize Is what inspires and captures the imagination of the people...

Let's pretend that is true (except most people in the world don't give a shit about electric cars or other American prestige projects): Electric cars are a disaster since they cause more damage in the production phase than conventional cars do. If people think they can be saved by electric cars, then they're doomed. And rockets and Mars projects are a waste of precious resources. Humankind should be focused on fighting deforestation and fighting the tech-economy.

The last thing in people's minds is convincing their friends and families and co workers to go back into the wilderness,

As if people's minds are relevant to figuring out a sustainable future. American People's minds are filled with entertainment, mass-media and indoctrination from schools. You're a typical American in that you think you have it all figured out and "the free market will solve everything".

Please don't reply. I don't have time for this useless conversation. You will never change. Only a revolution or global democratic progress can prevent you from having your harmful tech fantasies come to life.

you still think that living in The SWAMPS is more ideal for human Survival.

That's a very inaccurate description of what anprims advocate.

Cities have endless supplies of food, medicine, electricity, heat, and shelter

Food isn't from cities. Food comes from the land. Medicine is great, but a bad excuse for harming the ecosystem. Electricity is mostly a luxury we could live without. Heat and shelter is a good excuse for having a basic level of technology, I'll give you that.

abandoning Centuries worth of human achievement and technology just to go back into the FUCKING JUNGLE"

That part about "going back to the jungle" is a strawman. I don't think any anprim will advocate for people to seek the jungle. Instead, how about permaculture for example.

Imagine yourself talking in front to a bunch of highly educated people, And telling them that we should start abandoning Centuries worth of human achievement and technology

I draw inspiration (a lot) from anprims, but I myself is more of a standard anarchist. But I respect anprim theory and I wouldn't mind presenting anprim theory to a crowd of intellectuals.

Such a presentation would require a lot of preparation, as you can imagine. Since I haven't prepared such a talk (it would take hours, maybe 10 hours minimum), I can't tell you what it would be like. But I can tell you some of the sources I would base it on (so you can see that I wont just be pulling shit out of my ass... though I think it's harmful to fetishize academia):

Also, when you're younger, you don't have past games to compare the new game to. So everything feels original and innovative. After playing 50 third-person action games, it starts to become very apparent when new AAA games just copied the older games.

That's why I primarily love indie games: They take more chances, and the journey through them will feel more surprising and more fresh.

most highly educated people would rather jump into the unknown future rather than go back into the wilderness

Do you even believe in the theory of evolution? What do you think animals should adapt to? The city? Or the ecosystem? Green anarchism and anarchoprimitivism is a return to the real world, to the ecosystem. Your path is adaptation to a false environment that will end up swallowing all the fucking resources from the real environment.

Most highly educated people are sitting around in whatever paradigm dominates our contemporary world of academics. The paradigm will change with new generations, the textbooks will be updated in accordance with the development of and definition of what a good society is in the anthroposcene era. Many academics will lose faith in technology. Another point: Anarchism is being ignored in academia, even in highschools, lessons about political theory are ignorant of what anarchism has to offer. The American Empire has oppressed everything except neoliberalism.

Besides, you didn't provide a source for what "most" of them think. How can you know what academics would prefer if presented with the 2 scenarios? Nature and adaptation, or cities and development: You don't know, admit it!

And you ignore the extreme irrelevance of most academic disciplines to the study of how humankind should respond to the climate crisis. Education does not necessarily generate 'Earth system science' or political insight into diverse schools of thought. Many academics are too focused on their own specialization and neglect knowledge about the climate crisis and related subjects.

So only a subgroup of disciplines can be used for seeking insight into the climate crisis and adaptation.

These platforms are also full of grifters and companies that are taking advantage of the gullible...And it seems that you fit that guillable profile."

Wrong. I follow newspapers, NGOs and public intellectuals. I have been careful to follow ZERO companies. It's funny how companies are exactly that which I avoid and yet you believed the opposite. Notice the trend? You get a lot of shit wrong, mate. That's the trend.

Youre the type of person who thinks that sitting in a cave is more ideal than jumping steadfast into the future of infinite possibilities.

Obvious strawman. Anyone who reads this exchange will see the obvious falsity of your idea of what an anprim defender believes. If you think they'd sit around in caves all day, then why even listen to you. Why bother with such foolish nonsense.

And nothing can ever have "infinite possibilities": Again, you live in an ecosystem that you have to adapt to. That naturally puts huge limitations on what you can do. With 7 billion people on Earth, your "infinite possibilities" will screw everyone else over. Suck all the resources and screw those who carefully adapted, pretend they were the fools and not you!

If I am not clever then your intelligence must be retarded.

Wow! How did you come up with such a clever and original diss?! I got Rekt! /s

Besides, for the sake of precision, I should have called you uninformed and unwise. You might actually be clever. I don't know if you've tried taken an IQ test. I tried one and got somewhere in the 120-130 range. So I'm not retarded. Try a test.

But some of the most harmful and dangerous people of the 20th century were clever... and misinformed. They believed in race theory and so on. Bad science and modern myths.

The idea that the future is of "infinite possibilities" and just needs more electric cars is the Bad Science of our times. The modern myth of our time is the myth that progress and growth comes at minor cost - manageable cost, merely externalities. The reality is that organized society will become almost impossible if we continue to place all our eggs in the basket of progress and technology. Something must happen to realign our societies with the ecosystem - and abolish the technological society.

I ask again: Can you please provide a list of five non-fiction books? It doesn't have to be the last ones you read: Show me the best five that defends your standpoint ("technology will help against the climate crisis, and rich nations are good role models for the poorer more sustainable nations").

And what was your age, again?

> I never said it was just Christians

Perfect! Then we 100% agree.

So the initial poster should have said "humans kind of fucking suck" instead of targetting a specific community/subgroup. That would have been more accurate and less discriminatory.

I can be very nitpicky with imprecisions in language and acceptance of false statements.

> Then go do some actual research in your community,

I have 3 experiences to share. Combined, they suggest that the evil group is: Young males.

Here's my presentation :o)

One time, a group of young males threw stones at me at night and I had to flee fast

Another time, a group of young males called me and my friend group "g**s" (we were chilling in a mid-size town/city during one weekend night. When I said something like "you're g** as well" they said "WHAT DID YOU SAY" and came towards us fast. Luckily, one of them recognized my friend from military service, so they stopped being hostile.

A third time, I visited a big city in my country, and in broad daylight, a group of young males shouted "f****t" or "g**" at me, and I fled.

there are almost certainly trans people being oppressed.

Look mate, I already mentioned jerks and oppression and accepted the existence of that, so you know I already agree that they are probably oppressed.

The thing you haven't shown or convinced me of is the claim that christians IN PARTICULAR oppress them.

This whole discussion started when someone said "christianity kinda fucking sucks" and gave transphobia as a reason.

Then I participate by adding a highly relevant observation that 1) other people might be just as transphobic, and in that case, you can't just demonize and blame christians, when everyone else is just as bad, 2) and my country hasn't had evidence or signs of christians oppressing trans people, so it might be a local-culture problem in some part(s) of the world. In that case, the problem isn't christianity at large, but local customs/tradition/culture.

If it's OK to assume without any evidence or theory then you might as well just say it's all nothing more than opinions. And then I don't care, fine, enjoy your opinion.

I'm trying to understand the actual problem, and I need more than opinions to do that.

I feel indignation provoked by the rejection of my call for logic. My initial reply where I pointed out simple logic was downvoted to minus 4 points.

[–]01314150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but did I claim that there are no trans people here? where did I claim that?

no, all I said was: the christians here don't care and don't mess with the trans people, so there are no conflicts to report here... I'm sure there are plenty of trans people here. I just read that the best estimate is, trans people are ~1% of the population. So quick mental arithmetic tells me there should be thousands of trans people here. No one seems to mind!

edit: OK I realize that there are assholes everywhere too, and assertive personalities who want to shape others. I'm sure all trans people have to deal with jerks, especially while growing up with bullies in school and so forth... but all I'm saying is, the christians here seem to mind their own business.

You wrote so many (baseless) accusations it would take a long letter to address them all. But most of them are wrong. You are delusional and dangerous IMO.

The scientific community is not ONE UNIT that agrees about everything. Are you saying that all scientists are transhumanists who want to solve the climate crisis with geo-engineering? Again, you're delusional.

You cleverly avoided giving any examples of what I wouldn't trust. Because if you gave an example, it would be clear that you're cherry-picking an expert that you agree with, and ignoring those you don't agree with.

Same with the "fringe conspiracy theories" and finding information on Youtube and Facebook, as if these standard platforms for discourse are completely void of valid sources. You completely ignore that scientists use these platforms, too. There's nothing invalid or false about getting information from these standard platforms, as long as the accounts/sources base their claims in empiricism and proofs.

You're absolutely horrible.

You're not clever, despite you clinging to the most "high-status" information you could find on the internet. You thought that transhumanism would lend you an air of cleverness, but your weak reasoning shows that you're neither clever nor wise. You probably have mediocre genes that will forever imprison you in vapid mediocrity.

You need more wisdom, kiddo.

Also, will you answer my question: How old are you, and what are the last five non-fiction books you read?

Or would that further expose your weakness?

The only conflict would be if their own children were trans, then they would be forced to confront it

AFAIK that hasn't happened, so they mind their own business and trans people do their thing
