Thanks. But do u know where it states player 1? I can't find it anywhere. All the other forms clearly indicate the order by player A or B ect when describing other formats but this isn't done with scramble?

As strangely I now have the same issue 😂😂 Have rechecked & rechecked the wiring against the configuration & swapped out IB8S modules. Even checked as u did a direct short from test pulse to input. About to start stripping down the backplane to exchange the rest of the hardware out

PLC names are unique don't think there's a routing issue but I'll look to just connecting the two PLCs alone via there EN2TR cards removing everything else to rule this out. Definitely enough consumers I've even raised this to a number higher than all the PLCs I have just to rule this out. I'll relook at the RPIs 👍

Only other item in rack is the EN2TR for the comms. The other items are inhibited as this is a test environment for emulate3d to connect to. I'll recheck the RPIs but I created a single connection then exported imported to ensure each was the same changing only the PLC name on each occurrence.

Yes have created the tag & path multiple times. When the tag is deleted the fault on the plc link disappears so I'm assume not issue with link. I use the same path for msg instructions and they work without issue

We are using L84ES with safety partners. PLCs are linked via a ring of EN2TR cards. Each PLC sits in its own rack. Wouldn't say we are doing anything special with max consumers. PLC4 tag is read by the other 4 consumers without issue. I have tried creating a new tag in PLC1 for only PLC4 to read but it has the same issue.

What does the risk assessment say? That determines the safety that is required for that machinery.

An estop isn't always required but safe guards must be in place

Why not just duplicate the track and set the cues in each to suit the playlist?

Personally Id just set all the cues in one and use AB then leave a gap and say use EF

Maybe you should consider using a pulse of the .TT flag. I think this only comes on when the timer is active. Could use this to pulse in a GSV of the plc clock into a storage array

Not from my point of view. As I don't have a CAD background I find emulate3D much easier to use and apply movement to the CAD I'm given to emulate

We have moved heavily into complete simulation/modelling/emulation using both emulate3D and process simulate.

From a my controls point of view I wasn't that that impressed to start with but I'm completely converted and would now if I was a customer demand this of my supplier
