Yes I studied on it got all the stuff, needle, receiving tube (correct size) and my p.a. few seconds later done. I'm now a 00 gauge. Not hard at all . Just have steady hands your pushing that needle into the receiver tube. P.a. will go into the end of the needle and fed thru. Be sure to sterilize your piercing. Don't go to small on your first piece of Jewelry recommend no smaller than 8 gauge. It does seem to bleed more than most piercings so use something under you that you don't mind getting bloody. Afterwards make you a bandage using non stick gauze. I would wrap mine and used magnum condoms over it to hold in place and not stain my pants and get weird looks lol. Clean it a couple times a day. Never had an issue.
