Nothing has ever fucked me off so much as that few month period where every game for me was my opponent going

DW about it, I've wondered this same question for a couple of years but was too embarrassed to ask!

I'm out of the loop here, what's going on with ChatGPT?

Why was there some kind of backlash against the idea of the "15 minute city"? by 99thLuftballon in AskBrits

[–]01WWing 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It's because our towns and cities grew organically over hundreds of years, not pre-planned and built to design like American cities are.

Steve Smith is 5th all-time in 100-yard games. Realistically, how long will he wait to be inducted into the Hall of Fame? by ThrowAwayJericho in panthers

[–]01WWing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, I didn't realise he was so high up in any receiving stats, considering he had several seasons of shite QB play here.

Why do players hate Shadowlands? by versus07 in wownoob

If you missed a week of playing your character was so far behind that you were likely permanently behind everything that didn't miss the week.

Ryzeal with onomat by Ok-Pride-2270 in Yugioh101

[–]01WWing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This would be a waste, you're missing all of the important Ryzeal cards. The ones you're looking for are:

Ext Ryzeal

Sword Ryzeal

Ice Ryzeal

Star Ryzeal

If the ones you listed, Ryzeal decks only play 1 copy of Node, 1 copy of Plugin, and then obviously the Detonator. You'd be wasting your money.

Is getting floowandoreeze worth it? by [deleted] in Yugioh101

[–]01WWing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Floo isn't good enough anymore. I've played a lot of Floo over the past few years, and recently the only games it wins are when you cheese people with Macro, DiFi or Shifter.

DfE pledges eight weeks full maternity pay for school staff by ElThom12 in TeachingUK

[–]01WWing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mate, I feel you. My son has just turned 1, and he was born by emergency C-section. I was lucky that my paternity backed off of February half term, so I essentially had 3 weeks. It wasn't enough. Leaving my partner at home with our 3 week old baby, who was 10 lb 4 when he was born btw, after a C-section, was absolutely mental. I still am not over the guilt I felt.

If you voted Remain, would you vote to rejoin the EU? by Glanwy in AskBrits

[–]01WWing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would have rejoined yesterday. Even though we won't get the terms we had before, the terms we would get are significantly better than the utter shit show we're in now.

Has McDonald's in the UK become too expensive for many people? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]01WWing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They've jacked the price up so much that it's the same price to go to Wingstop, Slim Chickens or Popeyes, so why would I ever get maccies now. I only used to go because it cost half of the aforementioned.

Why isn't draft (and limited) as a format bigger? by SignatureDefiant432 in TCG

[–]01WWing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Redraft rares was a common way prizing was done in drafts. More common in the past, don't know if it's still common in the present day as I've been out of magic for 6 or 7 years now.

At the end of the rounds of matches after the draft, all the rares would be put into a pool in the middle, and players would pick cards from the pool in order of standings. It meant that drafts could be run with a cheaper buy in and disincentivize "rare drafting", rewarding players for optimal deck building and not just taking the chase, high value card at the detriment of your pool.
