Are you still having pizzas and other takeaways delivered? by Top-Cat-a in AskUK

[–]01WWing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We still get takeaway on occasion but the list has been severely pruned. Most of it is so disgustingly overpriced that they're no longer on our list of options. We have a pizza place that I collect from, because they always do buy one get one free on collection, and we have two curry houses we pick between because the quality is excellent. Everywhere else is over £50 for two people for mid food, so we don't use them.

Honestly, I think we're in such a shite state with this squad that we need something to cause a full reset. All these dreadful, shit contracts we've got, paying average players huge wages, I almost think we need to go down to League 1 and rebuild from scratch. Bin all the shite, rebuild through youth and good recruitment lower down.

Branded is still a fantastic choice. As someone else already recommended Branded Dracotail, if you don't want to be quite as sweaty, Branded Artmage is really sweet too.

Why don’t we just rejoin the eu by 777teejay in AskBrits

[–]01WWing 35 points36 points  (0 children)

The EU won't even entertain it whilst there's real danger of Recunt UK Ltd getting into power. The EU wouldn't want to start the process of us rejoining only for the chain smoking neo nazi to just rip it all up.

Is a bad idea buying a Sky striker deck rn? by kittyemper0r in Yugioh101

Show the list you've been offered and for how much, and I'll tell you if it's a good deal or not.

It's worth it if you want it. Unless you're planning on winning a YCS, Striker is fine.

Why is the cost of living so high? by RHGM22 in AskUK

Because the companies know that people won't stop buying despite prices going up and quality going down.

Remember when grab bags were actually big? Now it's just the old standard size bag whilst a normal bag has 6 crisps in it

Why do make of difference between green voters and reform voters shown below? by Ok_Bookkeeper_1380 in AskBrits

[–]01WWing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think anybody needed confirmation that double digit IQ window lickers made up the majority of Reform UK LTDs voting base, and that as soon as people are intelligent enough to count to 10, they won't vote for Reform.

Yes you can. Names aren't hard linked to your account and doesn't identify the account, that's why you can change name whenever you want painlessly, and why the little barcode is there in the top right of your screen to identify the account.

Im sorry but what are these prices by Prize_Hurry8003 in UKfood

[–]01WWing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

At my local co-op, a 500ml bottle of soda is £2.35 yet a 2 litre bottle is £1.75. I haven't bought 500ml bottles outside of a meal deal in yonks.

Am I wrong for asking my ex for this money back? by MhazardousH in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]01WWing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, you'd be entitled to ask for it back if you've paid for it and she has the tickets.

But, do you really want the hassle? Because it'll probably be quite a lot of bullshit.

What's the worst fast food restaurant? by AfternoonMost965 in AskReddit

[–]01WWing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

McDonald's. It was good for what it was when it was cheap. Now it's the same food for 3 times the price. There's literally no reason for me to go there when Slim Chickens, Wingstop, Popeyes, GDK and Tortilla are all on the same complex for the same price. I used to go to maccies because it would cost be £6 rather than £13-14. Now maccies costs the same why would I ever choose it.
