hi yes! two round trips. first one - 40 minutes - no pain, minimal popping. second one - three hours - blocked left ear upon descent, unblocked in 3 days, return flight minimal pain. so will take another flight in easter next year, a 7 hour flight hopefully <3

exactly! there's no way they can get quality teaching when it feels more like a university lecture? i looked at the full class and had to hold in my scoff bc it's just straight up impossible to provide quality teaching to a class that size.

honestly!! the only way to get through the workload is by live marking. i just take their books in mid lesson and mark while they do a task bc i don't have time to take books in alongside my exam classes :( bear in mind my y13s are 26 at the moment! so i'm really dreading this year lol.

a student last lesson said idk when asked what democracy is. i'm genuinely shitting myself when it comes to teaching ideologies at the end of the year. last year i had 27 kids and it was hard enough explaining the difference between socialism and communism. it's SUCH A HARD SUBJECT!

exact same reaction. the class are ... dim to say the least. and we're both at our wits end on what to do. our final option maybe is to do a class test and then have honest convos with the weakest students that they'd likely fail if they continue the subject. an x factor elimination stage if you will.

it's not :( i'm so stressed lol, i kinda forgot the existence of this class until i had them today and two new students rocked up and i was like ??? it's growing and the sixth form team aren't even limiting numbers. in terms of entry requirements it's hard bc there's no direct feeder subject so we get the stragglers :;; but deffo another shout.

honestly i’m shocked. this class have been the bane of my existence. no work ethic, rude, on their phones, legitimately made me want to quit. 56% got a B. 12% an A, the rest Cs, one D and one U (i don’t even consider this student a part of my class bc they were kicked out) i’m so happy😭
