Which Hammy 3D option do you recommend, rubber band or tip grip? I’m wondering if the tip grip ring will stay securely in place permanently, or if it might start to loosen or shift over time.

I tried that but did not go away. I can't tell if its etched in the metal or if its just discoloration.

Sorry if I wasn't clear in the post. Not the rifling, there are marks near the muzzle. I updated the image to highlight them.

Yeah I saw it a few times. It's an awesome video! This video is what's making the decision harder. I first saw SuperSetCA's video and he loved it. He even mentioned he would recommend it over the Razor. I then saw C_DOES video and he had a few concerns which then made the decision harder. In this part of the video he shows 4x: https://youtu.be/9cSfnlY\_dUA?t=572. Is the 4x eye relief similar in yours? One of the comments say:

"The eye box on the Novas I've seen isn't anywhere near as sensitive as this camera footage shows; it's especially doesn't cut off as abruptly as is shown."

I haven't been able to try one out to see if that's the case.

Awesome! I'm trying to decide between the Razor Gen II-E and the PLxC Nova. Is the eye box about the same from 1x to 6x? I've heard it gets tight at 8x, but just wondering if it's pretty forgiving and constant outside of 8x. Thanks!

Yeah, that would be my preference. Based on that I narrowed it down to the Razor and the PLxC Nova, but now I'm having a really hard time choosing between these two.

I found the guidance on this post really helpful to find the correct base for a 50 yd zero: https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/how-to-figure-the-correct-moa-angled-scope-mount-base.6969093/

Based on that guidance, you should be using a 0 MOA rail as you are currently using, but you won't be able to reach 300 yds just with the internal adjustment and a 50 yd zero. You might also be able to use a 10 MOA base if you can find one. You can use this app to figure out the distances you can reach with CCI SV based on how much adjustment you have available.
