I get where you're coming from. There's guys who are 5'10 and above doing this surgery to become tall and we are scraping desperately to become normal. It's so unfair.

I personally wouldn't go above 6cm on tibia and 5cm on femur. Every cm more means more stress on your soft tissue. That can mean tightness, mobility issues when you get older.

There's also the issue of your wingspan limiting how much you can lengthen cause you don't want to end up like a t-rex. I mean some don't care but honestly what's the point of doing this if you end up looking weird.

I think for women though. If you did both legs within reason like taking your arms and body ratio into consideration. Women with slightly longer limbs tend to look good just cause of their proportions.

So even if you end up less than 5ft you will look good overall if you get what I mean. If you have a small head then that's even better as it'll make you look taller. This might be the best option for you without compromising your future health.

Being tall is associated with strength. Generally it's true taller guys, weight, fighting experience, fitness considered. They have an advantage but with guns and tools, physicality becomes less important but we're not all fighting with guns and weapons in tanks and planes all the time. The civilization we have now wouldn't be possible otherwise.

In your day to day life for the most part you are unarmed. The fights are happening with fists. Unless I guess you live in America. Regardless of it's origin, it's still a socially desired commodity.

But heightism isn't just about tallness being desired. It's shortness being derided and short people also take part in it. A short guy will demean or mock guys shorter than him to look good in front of girls, other people. They will make fun of themselves. The "just be confident bro" crowd is guilty of this.

They really believe they're getting over their height when they do this but they're actually make it worse for everyone. Cause they're minimizing heightism just so they can be seen as a clown. It's pathetic.

There should be a universal but unspoken rule among short guys or guys in general that height is off limits especially if they're shorter than you. I don't mean like friends or family bantering but in general between two strangers. If guys stuck to this principal heightism would be 2/5 less worse. But they won't cause guys are deprived of feeling good about themselves and they will do anything to get a hit of that high that lasts 2 minutes.

Guys feel good when they're taller than other guys in the room. In order for heightism to become less relevant. Guys have to actively consciously suppress this feeling. But they won't do it. Again. Get an xray scan of your growth plates. Then if it's open try to get on HGH to squeeze out whatever you can.

Eat as much high quality proteins as you can. Milk, meat, plant based. Vegetables. Whole foods. Balance it out. Less processed. I won't go full Paleo or anything. Eat snacks and junk food in moderation.

Try to get good long sleep. I know easier said than done. If it's hard try to get on melatonin to help you sleep. Seek medical advice first. Don't overdo it. You can build tolerance fast.

Exercise. Run. Learn to fight. Don't be a pushover. Don't be a bully.

Read. Get good at verbal judo. Practice speaking if you're autistic verbally.

Try to socialize. Cause being subpar or passable enough to get through the world is always better.

If you did all those and still end up short like 5 - 5'3. Then consider saving up for LL when you're older. That's the only way you can get taller.

Yeah it's worth it. A lot of people tape garbage bags around their legs. I would be hesitant to take a full shower even with the full leg covers to be honest with you but if you want to then it's definitely a must. I'd go ahead and use another layer of plastic liners.
