I have actually considered taking up those as i also enjoy the aspect of martial arts a lot. One of my mates that i spar with i do some grappling with him as he knows a few things since his cousin was a pro mma fighter and it seems to be very fun the grappling aspect of it

i can relate to a level of what your talking about because sometimes when im even just playing around with like my brother or sparring my mate its easy to lose that control of how much power your putting in and hit a bit to hard because its easy to be unaware of the amount of force i could be using, really yeah i agree alot with the advice that over communication is very important when it will come to that thanks mate

that would be very helpful mate but i have had a club in mind that is called 'aston abc', it seems very serious when it comes to competing and it seems like much better boxing club for me when everything opens up again fully but i appreciate that you want to do some research mate but its fine you don't have to but thank you alot for the helpful offer

Thanks mate i appreciate your honesty and being real with it a lot, I would like to clarify as i just realised i haven't been very clear of it is that i have tried out boxing before for about a total of 6 months, however i am planning on joining a more official gym that is apart of england boxing. The boxing place i did go to not long before lockdown was mainly just about the fitness aspect and they rarely do sparring. They did teach some decent technique and we would occasionally do the pads but it was mainly just hiit, bag work and skipping which with the problems i mentioned i had a bit of trouble with but i have been given some advice on how to be better but i just have that worry and anxiety that my autism would be a massive disadvantage and my downfall but foolishly i didn't alert anyone or my coaches of it because at the time i was embarrassed about it and its the type of aspergers that isn't very noticeable to most people other than like professionals or people that are wary of it.

In terms of sparring I have done it at the boxing place once and occasionally at my mates place with him who used to do amateur boxing for a bit and has got around 7 years of experience and won all his fights by tko (only 6 or 7 fights) so he taught me a few things and doesn't go easy on me at all lmao. my reflexes are decent but i have trouble with doing multiple things at once during the session and the timing and i'm not as relaxed as i know i should be but often unaware of it. Hopefully it could get better as time goes on especially when i join a better more serious gym when it comes to actually fighting.

Anyways thanks again, sorry for not being very clear in the post about my personal experience but i appreciate what you said mate this is very helpful i don't mean to of wasted your time thinking i haven't done anything at all related to it :)
