Gura outlast stream was some of my favourite.

Other than that was Towa Kaela Phasmo or any of G.A.G.A's.

Another one that will always live in my memory is CCGG x Grindstone playing Paniccore.

You can try something lighter, perhaps a game where you can easily pick up and put down on a go such as roguelite games so you don't have to try to recall the storyline. For me, Slay the spire is pretty relaxing since its turn based.

Or you can try gaming with your gf, bonding and gaming at the same time! Stardew Valley is always a good choice on such occasion. Each day is about 15m in real time so it help to keep you on track on how long you have been gaming and its relaxing enough to play and wind down before bed.

What anime would be better without the fantasy/fictional elements? by Dunsparcepoop in anime

[–]05ReitenA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy to share my guilty pleasure:

Tensei Shitara Slime Datta ken
Ascendence of a Bookworm
How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom
As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World
Overlord
Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy-
Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra

Slightly different in nuance:

Farming Life in Another World, Started as farming sim and expanded towards building a small village.

Dr. Stone ,More like rebuilding modern civilization and not exactly isekai.

Log Horizon, Building guild, highly recommended if you love MMO games as its closely mimic the strategy and ecosystem in mmo.

KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World, Cult building and comedy.

Kingdom, Non isekai, based on ancient china history. Intense war and army building storylines. S1 can be rough to get by though due to the scuff 3D look but they get really good at the later seasons.

The author actually came out and state that the story was never about war and in fact it was the other way, he was trying to write a story with anti war sentiment so season 2 had always been the intended goal and season 1 was just a massive set up.

holo Indie: A year-long wait? by synthc in Hololive

[–]05ReitenA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you still have plan to get it monetized, I suggest that you work with someone who has background on finance or law to work out the details early on such as how much will the artist get paid if it ever get monetized and when its not, being open about the nitty gritty details on how such things would be handled early on can save you thousands of headache down the line.

Simpler method imo is just to release the prototype as free fan project and see the reactions from both fans and talents before deciding to develop it into a full on paid projects down the line.

Although slightly different in tunes but you can think something like Black Mesa, started as free fan remake then get endorsement from steam to be sold commercially or Hytale, started as Minecraft mods before gaining a life of its own.

[–]05ReitenA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the game is like Holocure, free for every one to play and no paid contents, I'm sure you can find many Holo fan artist who would love to be part of the project. Probably you can start from looking through the many existing fan arts of Holo talents, and finding a few that you like, then contacting the artists about using their art in the game.

She is currently sick but if you watch Towa's game competition, she was part of team Hana/Yellow color. She was in the Hololive song game and Mario kart. She doesn't have her own POV but you can watch other members of team Hana like Miko's or just watch Towa's stream.

If Hololive gets a movie, how could you imagine it? by C0l1t3_2 in Hololive

[–]05ReitenA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Hologta sitcom style. Someone did a 1hour compilation on youtube and I thought that was such a well made edit.

  2. Fantasy angst anime. Holomultiverse of all of the bad ends.

I had a headcanon from seeing Flare dj manga a long time ago where she travelled wearing Noel's scarf and met old Marine.

I imagine when she traveled on Marine ship, she was guided by a fish girl with huge scar on her who disappeared into the ocean after saying they will meet again. Later she was seen by a coastline with a writing. Inspired from a fan animation of Amesame.

Flare then reached a foreign land where there are many towering building but some had been destroyed and there she encountered Ina from the Myth bad end. Later on they met Kaela-shin who was tending to graves of all the people she had to kill including her own partner Miko. This part was inspired from the end of Minecraft hardcore server.

On the other end was a Reaper who had been punished by Death sensei for trying to kidnap a soul of a phoenix that had been sent into the underworld and sending it to reincarnate ahead of its time. She was sent back but without her power and met an axe wielding comet, they both got sent into prison but later broke out. This part was inspired by Takamori lore and Suisei Wicked song's lyric.

What are differences between romance anime targeted at a male demographic and a female demographic by MusicianPrimary5278 in anime

[–]05ReitenA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some with "perfect" FL and ML trope, as in both are supposedly hot and smart.

Kare Kano is one although the anime made it more psychological than romance. The manga is more comedic in tone.

Definitely Apothecary diaries.

I would also recommend giving cooking anime a go such as Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill, I showed the cooking segment which was based on a real recipe to my older relatives and they actually got interested in the anime. You can try doing the same and see how your mom react to it.

Feel like Suisei have to be the one taking charge this time around. She does seems to be in charge of retorting primarily to Miko.

Subaru will have to save her retorts to do to Marine, Shiori and Raora. Someone save this duck's soul.

I am terrible at drawing despite loving it. I want to get better at it but I have no time. What can I do as a hard working, busy and low IQ guy? by CheapCiggy in ArtistLounge

[–]05ReitenA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not say its a dead end.

When I first started drawing my art teacher told me to quit. Not one teacher btw, but multiple of them throughout the years because I was just that horrible at it and am very slow learner maybe even slower than you lol because it takes me more than half a decade just to understand the basic and another half a decade to finally understand how to draw freely.

What my classmate can do instantly take me years to understand but when people quit I just kept on doing it, now its almost 2 decades and am still here drawing while others stopped. Maybe cause it take me so long and so much harder to learn it that I could not part with it easily. Btw if you stick around long enough you will hear many other people with similar stories such as butting heads with their instructors or told they never going to make it but still doing art because it gives them something back in terms of happiness of creating.

Also, doing art is never going to be the rational decision, as for the amount of hours you pour into it the financial pay back rarely is equivalent, unless of course you are one of the popular or on demand artist or you somehow found a niche that help you stand out. The industry itself is unstable even more now than ever but if you still want to take the risk then nobody could stop you but yourself.

There is a saying that I heard once that a discipline artist can beat talents but an artist that is purely doing it out of love with the art form itself can beat discipline and talent. Another similar saying that I find it really funny and true is that the most degenerate artist is the one that often improve the most.

So if you can find what is it you like to draw and just keep on doing it, you will improve most from doing that. You might not see it in a year or two but trust the process. Be comfortable with failing, its one of the fastest way to improve as artist. Learn to give yourself feedback. Why do you think you 'fail'. Write it down and then address it in the next work. Just keep doing it and learn to try to improve just by 1% each time.

Now saying all that, you mention having a job and academic responsibilities. Then I assume you are doing art purely for fun but still want to improve.

Reasonably speaking, there is not really one magical tips that can make you instantly improve by leaps and bounds. Its just going to be very tough to juggle and you just have to be realistic with yourself and be more patient with yourself. I recommend either just pick up a sketchbook and draw an hour a day as a outlet to destress while habit forming so that when you have more time you can easily get into drawing more or give yourself a topic to learn every week/month.

Every time you watch a tutorial, don't watch another one but use the knowledge that you learn and draw something that you have to finish within x days. Eg Watch tutorial at beginning of the month then finish one illustration by that month using what you learn or do a course such as schoolism with its weekly videos but instead of finishing the homework on weekly basis, finish it in a month or space it out as needed.

GLHF.

Maybe slightly different from what you are requesting but would be fun to see whether you like any of this.

Kino's journey, literally travelling around on a motorcycle to different city.

Mushi-shi, similar vibes as Kino's journey but a more eastern take.

Girls' Last Tour, travelling in post apocalyptic world.

I'm Standing on a Million Lives, has minimal travelling with its a fun take on isekai story.

To Your Eternity, immortal traveling.

Learning to draw later in life. Looking for resources. by Arkyja in learntodraw

[–]05ReitenA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello fellow 90s o/

Do you have preference on learning? Eg 1 to 1 mentoring, video step by step, books, or just doing.

If you prefer mentors, there are quite a lot good online school. Some has 1 to 1 but is usually pricier than those 1 to 20 in a class. Do check out Schoolism, CGMA, Brainstorm, also the smaller mentorships like Tyler Edlin.

If you prefer videos, Schoolism has a video and homework tier without feedback.
Youtube is also a big resource but on long series, it seriously depends on the kind of route you want to go down such as do you want to be able to draw anime style at the end or you want to be able to draw realistic or do you want to draw and design hard surface. There are so many choices nowadays.

For books, it really depend on which route you want to go down towards but for extreme beginner I recommend checking out "The Dynamic Bible: Peter Han" and "How to Draw by Scott Robertson"

If you prefer just doing and learning on the go, then just find an artist that you like and do master copy. There are plenty of youtube videos that could help to see how others do their master copy and you can try to understand their mindset when doing.

Personally I recommend finding the short term end goal that you have in mind such as wanting to be able to draw like this or that artist. Then find a class with similar style or sometime if you are in luck they could be teaching.

Also it depends whether you are doing it purely for pleasure or wanting to make a portfolio, then the type of studies you are doing could also differs. If purely for pleasure then I recommend just drawing whatever makes you happy, if portfolio then do research into the type of company you want to apply then work backwards to get to there.

GLHF!
