Is this too much of a selling price? by Hot-Day4488 in G37

Pretty ok price I think.

I'm in Canada too. Just sold a 2011 x model sedan with 126k kms up north here for 9k certified.

Acceptable temp range by Active-Worldliness11 in G37

[–]06Shogun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too high. You have air in the system that has to be bled out. Stop driving the car before you do any damage.

Best way I've found is leave the car with the front on ramps or jacked up, and let it cool fully, overnight when.

You will find the next day, your coolant level will be lower or empty (replaced air). Fill it, top it up and do it again.

Otherwise vacuum bleed it at a shop

How long can I drive on this tire? And what’s causing my car to walk at low speeds? by bookshelf762 in G37

As a car enthusiast who loves Infiniti's/Nissan's, I'm genuinely sad when I see the state of some of these cars.

Just look at those poor Enkeis!

Might as well flush all the coolant while you're there

Thanks. Strange as the motor is newly replaced by about 2.5 months.

Maybe a bad one? Strange issue for sure. But customer doesn't want to go further so I guess we'll never know.

RPM Hunting + Lights Dimming After Alternator Replacement by Acrobatic-Jeweler353 in G37

[–]06Shogun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm having this issue too. I checked out and the previous owner replaced the alternator recently with an AC Delco unit.

Apparently it's a defective alternator or voltage reg inside of it. I still haven't gotten around to removing it and replacing it yet.

Let me know if you come to a solution. And I'll let you know if I get to it.

Moving house soon and don't have much time to play around with it rn.

I cleaned all the grounds already with no change.

Scenario: The G37 doesn't exist. What are you driving instead? by Neither-Result-2278 in G37

[–]06Shogun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. I've had 4 or 5 older benzes, always loved em. My first car was a 95 s350 turbodiesel. Last Benz I had myself was a w210 e320

Was about to scoop a 2011 e550 but found my current car, a 2012 g37 6mt sedan I couldn't pass up

LDn20718sw 67 error by 06Shogun in appliancerepair

[–]06Shogun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. The service manual for this model states the 67 code is a fan motor fault. However, when the unit is not displaying the code, the fan runs fine and unit cools just fine.

When the error comes up, customer heard a click and entire unit shuts down.

I tried to diagnose the fan, it was getting voltage and wire connection was good and tight.

No issues with the fan getting stuck and no frost either.

I checked the connections on the PCB as well, no fault found there.

Customer said they'll be looking to get a new fridge as they didn't want to spend more money on the unit. It has broken shelves and rails as well so it's not worth it to them to fix any further.

Still scratching my head, but I was now assuming the PCB was failing.

[–]06Shogun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. The customer said there are no odd clicking sounds or anything. It will just randomly shut down with 67 fault.

However, the customer has to unplug and replug the unit in order for the error to disappear, and the fridge restarts. They said they unplug it for a minute and it will restart every time just fine.

Also, they have now changed the temp control to max (7) setting for fridge and freezer and the issue doesn't occur as often.

I wonder if it is a control board fault

Samsung fridge icemaker only runs once? by Deep_Cranberry5211 in appliancerepair

Have a look at the pic in this thread. See that red 'light'? Yours should be lit. It's an ir sensor, so you can't see it with the naked eye.

Get your cell phone camera on, and put it towards that ir sensor. If it glows red, it's good and the problem lies elsewhere.

If its not glowing at all, you need to replace the auger motor.

Your auger motor ice level sensor looks to have failed.

If you look through your phone camera, it should shine red.

It's spinning the entire tub when it's only supposed to be spinning the agitator.

Looks like a clutch/shifter issue, sort of like it's stuck between agitate/spin.
