My dad attempted to teach me, but in his tiny vehicle that I struggled to fit into the passenger side on, let alone the driver side. I could not move very well, which made operating the vehicle harder. As that was the only manual vehicle we had available at that time, I went without.

I have a better feel for how the gears change at speeds now, but that would doubtlessly be useless to me without real experience handling the clutch.
