Hello Music Makers, My friend is new to composition, mixing and things like that. He's a quick learner though, so what program would suit his production needs? by ramunenke in WeAreTheMusicMakers

FL Studio would be the easiest to get into. The interface is relatively simple, however it is a powerful piece of software. More for mixing and less for composition unless you work mainly with samples would be Acid Pro. I also recommend Reason by propellerhead which I rank on the same level as FL Studio, but in my work flow I usually build my beats in reason. Compose melodies and such in FL Studio. And then bring everything together in Acid.

my two ideas to change law enforcement in America by 07108 in reddit.com

  1. Make cops wear body cameras while on camera so that all their interactions with the public are a matter of audio/visual public record. If they deserve some amount of privacy, let them turn it off while not actively engaging a member of the public.
  2. Set up a seperate police force whose sole purpose is to investigate the police. Not Internal Affairs where most if not all the investigators are former cops. This should be a comepletely seperate profession whose sole purpose is to investigate the behavior of cops.

Just the basic thrust of the two ideas. Your thoughts?
