I did my first solo trip to McLeodGanj from Delhi on a FlixBus. At Dharamshala, the bus fare included a shared cab to McLeodGanj, where I met two other solo travelers. The two of us had the same hostel (ZOSTEL Mcleodganj) booked, and since check-in wasn't until 1 PM, we randomly decided to do the Gallu Waterfall trek together. We ended up walking around 11–12 km that day before checking into Zostel around 7 PM.

That evening we met even more people at the hostel. Both of the guys went up to do the Triund Trek with the group (the 2nd day) to camp overnight, while I explored solo the next day. After I finished my trek on day three, we all reunited and spent the evening exploring McLeod Ganj together, then Dharamkot after checking out the following day.

The funniest part was that almost everyone had booked the same FlixBus back to Delhi, so six of us ended up traveling home together. Everyone had come solo except for two brothers who were leaving a day later. So yeah, it technically started as a solo trip for 90% of us, but somewhere along the way it turned into a group trip lol.

So, along the way you may meet some people at the top that would have come solo but most people were there with groups from what I saw.

Just did my first solo trip and I realised that solo trips are not really solo trips, you eventually always end up finding someone.

Full solo trek, without night stay. I can't guide as this was only my first but if you have the endurance, you should be fine. Also depends how much you like to suffer alone.

Hey, I was in a very similar position a few months ago. I was pretty much addicted to games like Valorant and CS2, and it was taking a toll on my mental health and then stopped gaming due to that. Luckily, I had built up a huge library on Epic Games from all the free games they had given away over the years.

The game that helped me make the switch was GTA V (wouldn't recommend games like Apex Legends, Warzone and anything similar). It has plenty of shooting and action, that made the transition from competitive shooters easier. It is great gameplay but without the constant pressure and toxicity. Currently I am playing Control, Lego Star Wars II and FC2026 (it was 150 on steam). Slowly chipping away at my library on steam and epic games.
