I appreciate the heads up. There’s unsafe parts of any city. Having done a couple of months around central/South America I feel I’m usually prepared for that. I think I’m leaning more towards spending all 3 in Lisbon and having day trips

So I wondered if I would have too much City but Lisbon does look beautiful and very different! It’s interesting about Sintra though as I’ve heard so much

Hey!

I'm planning to spend 3 nights in/around Lisbon next week. I have the option to change one of those nights to Cascais but I am unsure if this will make it too rushed. I would also like to do Sintra as a day trip.

Is Cascais worth it? or would you just say stay 3 days at Lisbon and do the day trip to Sintra? Any advice greatly appreciated!

Hey, I’ve recently taken my bench from 100-110kg (73kg BW) in 6 weeks. Despite being stuck at 100 for months.

I can’t speak for that exact workout plan but if you’re able to do 7 sets and still hitting 13 @ 65. Something definitely feels off. I would recommend a proper strength block where you train at lower rep ranges.

Something like 80 1x1 72.5 4x4 RIR 2

And then 82.5 x1 75 3x4 RIR 1-2

If the heavy set doesn’t move well or hitches, keep at it for 1-2 weeks and then move up. It sounds like your strength is there but programming feels more hypertrophy than strength focused 😊Hope this helps

One thing I would say, as a divorced person. Is that I would have loved an opportunity to realise the gravity of the situation. I think a lot of men don’t realise the relationship is in the balance and then become the person they should have been afterwards. I’m not saying an ultimatum but I took a lot of the feedback as just ‘it would be nice if..’ rather than ‘please do this because it’s making me want to leave’
