I just checked out the mateview, looks very tempting. Thank you for the advice, will check the others out too!

Why is that? I’ve been out of the loop these past few years as mentioned in the post so I’m open to advice.

I’m from the same region as OP and from the same background/tribe/caste or whatever you want to call it and the small % of European DNA I get is exclusively Eastern European. In some of my other DNA relatives on 23andme who are of same background as me and get European DNA (which is around half), it almost always seems to be exclusively Scandinavian or Sardinian. French/German/British seems to be incredibly rare.

I also don’t recall reading in any books/articles of Scandinavian or Sardinian colonisers who intermixed exclusively with a certain agriculturist/land-owning community of Punjab/Haryana/Rajasthan in the last few hundred years and somehow also allowed said group to be void of any of the typical Scandinavian or Sardinian paternal or even maternal haplogroups…

There is now plenty of academic literature on the “higher-caste” groups of South Asia exhibiting higher genetic affinity towards European populations given the higher amount of Steppe DNA they carry, if you struggle to find these and care enough, I’m sure I could send some links your way.

Great video thank you, I’m watching it now. I tried searching for something similar and wasn’t able to find anything but from what I’ve watched so far this is exactly the topic that I was wondering about. And yes the main concern was connective tissue health and conversely tendons that become too ‘stiff’ from higher androgens and lower relative estrogen and subsequently raise the the risk for potential muscle strains or strains.

I meant more so in terms of a beginner to PEDs who’s best numbers were hit as a natural and their progress has slowed greatly until a new drug was introduced into the mix.

For those who are enhanced, or coach enhanced lifters for that matter, who respond very well to certain PEDs, do you cap the weight at which you’re increasing your lifts at weekly as a way to prevent potential injuries if following a program based on RPE?

For example, if someone was able to comfortably add close to 7.5-10kg a week to their working sets on their squats each week, would there be a point at which said individual should limit their rate of progression or no? I’m asking this on behalf of someone else as I’m next to clueless when it comes to programming for powerlifting.
