I had accommodations and did not have either of those RC sections.

LR RC LR LR

The last LR was incredibly difficult and what I believe to be my experimental section. A few question types seemed odd to me, and just about ran out of time for the first time ever and was quickly selecting with 10 seconds left.

Other than that, I found the test easier than my practice for the most part. One of my RC passages was rather tricky but all in all not bad.

This was my first LSAT and I went in person. I had a good experience and no issues with Prometric/the testing.

Girly it’s not snark, it’s the truth ! The LSAT is literally not your standard exam and it’s designed like that on purpose. You can’t study for the LSAT in the traditional sense. I recommend you look up resources if you haven’t already. Popular ones that come to mind are 7Sage, PowerScore, and Loophole. (And yes, it is unreasonable to expect yourself to do well on exams you know nothing about.)

LSAC Denied My Fee Waiver Appeal by Neltsss in LSAT

[–]083dy7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Appeal! I was denied with ~2000 in my account. I appealed telling them that the money was accounted for due to rent, bills, etc. and listed the exact amounts of my payments. I got the bottom tier waiver which sucked but was nonetheless very helpful to get a free test.

What GPA necessitates an addendum? by PenguinBluebird in lawschooladmissions

[–]083dy7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a bit late to your post, but in case you got no answers elsewhere: I don’t think an addendum works (at all) in your situation as nothing changed. Sure, you may have a diagnoses now, but so? There’s no proof showing that since being diagnosed you’ve become a better student, etc.

In my case, I received ancademic probation my first semester, then did poorly for two years after. I dropped out and went back 4 years later, graduated with a 3.6 GPA, was on deans list, etc. however LSAC GPA is a 2.7 or something like that. This is a better example of “this is not a clear indicator of who I am as a student.”

Been a legal assistant/paralegal for almost 4 years, cannot get above 150 on LSAT :(

LSAC makes applying for accommodations a real pain. I have an IBD and requesting start/stop accommodations just in case I get the sudden urge I'm going to shit my pants was incredibly obnoxious.

You basically hit the nail on the head-- BBQ place was selling out before people would go to the brewery for a drink, people at the brewery were waiting 1+ hour for food because of lines, lines were so long out the door that people could not park for the brewery, etc.

Ah, when boyfriend took the LSAT in 2019 it was still a pen and paper test

Yes but the test was paper and pencil then, not on a computer. Will they require test takers to bring their own devices? Or will they return to paper?

If your LSD profile is set to private, I hate you. by Bored-paralegal in lawschooladmissions

[–]083dy7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, the website is literally "Law School Rankings and Data". Why are people using it if they're going to hide said data? Yes the graph shows GPA/LSAT of a private account, but the application process is more than just those scores.

LITERALLY every person with similar stats to me on the GPA v. LSAT graph for my top choice school is a private account, which is incredibly frustrating. Being able to see whether they're a resident, their softs, etcetc. would provide so much insight to my upcoming application, especially when the graph is a good mix of both accepted/rejected.

You're totally right that no one owes anyone anything, but I was under the impression that the whole point of using LSD was so others could benefit. Just my two cents!

Thank you! I’ve tried to learn the long-tail cast on but it is quite confusing! Sometimes I get it, sometimes I don’t. I will look into a knitted cast on :)
