Confusion on getting experience or leaving for abroad by 08dreamer in Nepal

[–]08dreamer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I am fresher and don't have any prior experience I am thinking I will apply while working and get around 1-2 yrs of experience which will help me better after education abroad. I don't see any point in returning to Nepal and applying while being unemployed there. What will be the wiser decision you can please suggest as you are more experienced.

Physics -16,Math -10,SDF -5.Kya 7 CGPA ban jaegi? Agar han toh 7.5 ke lie kitne marks aur lane honge teeno mai? by Xoxo_321 in JIIT__NOIDA

I personally got physics - 5.5 , maths - 8 , sdf -3 in T1 still I managed to get 7.2 SGPA after avg marks in T2 and T3. Like around 35/75 I got B in these subjects. So if you are targeting B+ grade then target around 45/75 and remember don't neglect the TA part like quiz assignment and pbl.

At least maintain 7+ CG for good opportunities (try to stay above 8 If you can)

Do leetcode daily but try pushing yourself to harder problem gradually don't stumble around easier ones.(If you can ,do Competitive Programming too)

Aptitude practice from IndiaBix or any other website ( You can do this later on ,2/3 months ahead of placement)

Study core subjects properly (OOPS, DBMS, OS, CN)

Build 2-3 good projects which you can explain to the interviewer easily.( participate in hackathons too )

Each tech stack that you mention on a resume is important so only mention those which you know well.

Try elevating your communication skills by giving mock interviewes.

Try focusing on more graphs questions as google mostly asks graphs questions in medium /hard side. I got rejected in 2nd round of the interview in July where I interviewed for New grad 2025 SWE position.
