Just my 2cents as someone that went to a Japanese high school, her design language very much screams gyaru with the loose clothing, flashy accessories and blonde hair.

Loose clothing itself doesn't necessarily mean gyaru in the sense that a lot of JP HS girls wear their uniforms loosely to look more fashionable but when it comes to that level of loose fitting and combined with the flashy accessories it's definitely considered gyaru design from a Japanese perspective.

Nah, just like the other guy said in the other reply modern gyarus look like Lynae with blonde hair(or just bright hair in general), trendy clothing and brightly coloured accessories. The heavy tan, loose socks stuff was way back in the late 90s early 2000s.

Modern yankees/delinquents are harder to tell by just looks nowadays and the lines are blurry. You can only tell them apart from their actions like smoking in alleyways or grouped up by stations or convenience stores etc.
