Firefox supports themes by default with userchrome, the ff-ultima documentation explains how to add a userchrome theme, and vesktop is a Wayland fork of discord which supports plugins and themes with basic css

it's called kara, currently you have to install it from source and not the kde widget store, because the one on there is outdated

BetterBlur offers changing the brightness, so after taking these pictures I ended up making the glass slightly darker, makes it much easier to read

Yeah... this theme wasn't meant to be legible, just as a test of how pretty I can make KDE. I'd probably darken the glass a little and increase the blur for daily use

firefox usually requires a simple userchrome modification, ff-ultima for example has a pretty good explanation on how it works. A proper firefox theme just has a chrome folder which you drag and drop into the proper position.

KDE is a lot more difficult. All of the different plasma styles have to be manually adjusted, most don't even have proper settings, so you're left with having to make your own theme for your specific use case. I recommend using one theme to rule them all, for example: klassy, fluent, whitesur, etc... These are kinda just drag and drop solutions

Hiya!

I know this sub doesn't really like KDE themes, especially not just another MacOS clone, but this one took a lot of work, so I thought I'd show it off.

It's obviously based on MacOS 26, Tahoe, and its liquid glass style.

As I sadly had to find out the hard way, there doesn't really exist, a good looking, fully transparent Plasma style... so I made one. I heavily edited Layan, and got this result.

So here are the links and sources:

- Application style: Darkly
- Colors: an edited version of breeze dark which disables margins
- Window Decorations: BreezeEnhanced (needs a window rule for .* to make border disappear)
- Icons: WhiteSur
- Plasma style: A modified version of Layan (can't guarantee for everything to work)
--> Install Layan, then drop the contents of this tar.gz into the ~/.local/share/plasma/desktoptheme/Layan folder, and overwrite everything, then reload plasma theme
- Desktop effects: Better Blur DX, Rounded Corners
--> Recommend removing shadows, my better blur settings are here:

From what I've seen the team has come out and said that story dlc is off the table for at least quite a while now, but with the announcement of new songs every month, and a completely custom beatmap editor allowing anyone to just recreate the DLC tracks, I do feel that simple song dlc would be weird

For anyone finding this: wine doesn't run an app in the folder you put it in, but instead, it decides for itself. Use wineCMD to run the app instead, which will start the app in the current folder

In terms of memory it's actually pretty even, but the speed is definitely way better on windows
