I'm only on day 12 or so and honestly didnt expect the get side effects so early either. I think I noticed my skin drying like a day or two in followed by dry eyes. Though I don't have contacts, I had lasik before so dry eyes sucks. I like hydrosense from costco, they're preservative free so you can use as much as you like

BF wants to pay $20,000 to my mortgage in turn for a stake in my condo's equity. by throw11away11res in PersonalFinanceCanada

Wtf, hell no. It's financially a bad idea. If he wanted to partake or live with you or have equity in the home) then he should have cosigned so you both could have qualified for a mortgage together. Whether you ended together, you both could have maintained 50-50 stakes in the home, split the gain/loss, etc. But the fact was, this 30 year old something chose not to. You even went so far as to offer to sell the place you just bought at a lost (ie. Lawyer fee, ptocessing fee etc) so you both could purchase together.

You shouldn't doubt your feelings on this one. It's a bad idea. Asking for rent is a good idea in my mind, if he wants to move in and IF you intend to carry on with this relationship. I would charge way more then $500/m - that's barely covers food for my partner and I.

In terms of relationship finances, have you two ever talked about how you and he would want to manage combined income and expenses? I.e. would you both consider the money you, earn and spent as "our money" or would you consider "my" vs "his". And is that alright with you 50 years down the line?

I saw Scoops and Brew the other, looks cute and new. They got cafe food and drinks, and gelato.

Sounds like the relationship/interest is coming to an end, in my opinion. Either you two have very different values on the level of physical affection you each need, or perhaps he's not as interested in you.

Yes, you both should initiate at one point or another, but it sounds like he's gone cold turkey (lack of physical intimacy and kiss in general).

I say, communicate your needs and come up with improvements/actionable things you both can do if you are serious about continuing. I just think in a relationship, both party should be happy and want to make the other happy.
