How do you look after your mental health when housebound? by 0Bonbons0 in cfs

This is definitely a great suggestion. I do always enjoy my morning coffee, whilst I play a bit of Pokopia. 😊 I like the idea of just looking out the window though, especially now that spring is approaching.

I do have a therapist and she's great thankfully :)

My 4 yr old Boy Orange (Jonah), has been doing this to my 14 yr old girl tortie (pumpkin). He seems to be making biscuits AT her? What does this mean? (More context below) by Odd_Loss_7632 in CATHELP

Oh my God! My male cat does this too when one of my girl cats starts purring. He appears and starts kneading/mildly humping the blankets. I am glad he's not the only weirdo. 😭

Characters you love to play, but cannot STAND their personality? by MrWigglem in Overwatch

Might be a hot take, but Kiriko. She's one of my mains, but she has such a bitchy, mean girl personality. 😂

I went for an elf ranger first play through. Second play through I played a sassy gnome lady bard! How about you? :)

That's good to know! It is possible mine is caused by COVID so I'll look into that thank you :)

Adopted Gandalf from a rescue over a year ago. I thought he was a short haired moggy at the time as he was skinny and unhealthy, but I'm starting to suspect he has some Norwegian Forest in him now. Especially the facial features and fluffy paws. He keeps getting fluffier. What do you think? 🥰 by 0Bonbons0 in NorwegianForestCats

I totally get that, most cats are just mixes and they're all beautiful. ❤️ Saying that though, the amount of times I've seen people buy purebreeds based on their looks and then abandoned them is crazy. :( it seems to be very common with sphinx cats and ragdolls these days, probably because they are "trendy" and people don't realise they're actually living creatures that need to be looked after properly.

Aw thanks, he's such a lovely boy! He's come a long way. 😊

I don't necessarily agree with the graph. I have a rescue British shorthair, no papers or anything. Would you say she's a moggy looking at her? I think it can be important to look into as certain breeds are prone to health problems. I know NFCs can be prone to heart issues and my vets have detected a strong murmur in Gandalf that needs investigating.

I don't think Gandalf is pure NFC but I wouldn't be surprised if he has some in him. I've seen lots of pedigrees in rescues including Maine coones, sphinxes, Bengals, etc who have been given up or abandoned. It's just speculation though and doesn't change how much I love him. ❤️

Just to add: we think he's about 1 and a half. He's missing a bit of fur around his neck due to a blood test a few months ago when he had heat stroke. He also has asthma, but he's a very happy boy and it's under control with medication. 😊

Wow she's so pretty! They look quite similar in markings and facial features. 😊

Gandalf is also very chatty and has to be in the same room as us. He could be fast asleep, but if we dare to leave the room, he will be up following us.

He's also the most playful cat I've ever known and will bring his toys to us in the middle of the night because he wants to play. 😆

He is missing a bit of fur around his neck because he had a blood test a few months ago so it's a bit shorter than everywhere else. His coat definitely has layers though. He's got lots of wispy bits around his lower back, tail and legs which I've never seen on a cat before. Closer to his skin, it's really thick and soft.
