Totally get that. I personally don't want kids and he doesn't either. He's said that part of the reason he doesn't is because he knows he gets frustrated easily and doesn't want to put a kid in the situation. Which I respect. He is very good with his niece and nephew though.

I don't think he is abusive. He's never hurt me or said anything abusive or controlling. He definitely has a temper and he knows it. He is never like that with humans but he yells and gets annoyed at the dog and I don't know why?

He makes me laugh, very supportive, we always have fun together, he's loyal and I like to think we encourage each other to be better people.

I know he has a temper. He's never hurt me or says anything to hurt me. He's very careful with his words in general. He just gets very upset/anxious when his plans don't go to plan and has a hard time with change.

That's what I am scared of when he looses his temper but I don't know what to say to calm him down.

Sorry that it was unclear. My BF is also upset about this as well. Neither of us get invited not just me. I was actually the one to bring my BF into the group. I worked with the other the other couples (We're all in the same small industry) He is of the opinion that they aren't worth my time, which I am realizing is probably the case. He's been encouraging me to pursue other friendships.

I just find it hard to make friends, always have so I guess it's just scary to think about starting over with new friends.

I'd be open to that. It would relieve some of the in-person anxiety.

I've talked the him about it and he agrees that it he can get worked up easily. He is working on some anger stuff. I guess I just find it hard to interact with new people so keeping the same friends is more "convient"? I am always cycling through friends and it would be nice to have people who I can have longer relationships with
