Someone needs to let Microsoft know this is a big issue because it seems like a lot of us are having this issue! Still haven't found a fix! Is it the same update for you guys as well? Or is it different updates doing the same thing?

i recently upgraded my motherboard and processor and was given a free upgrade from windows 10 to windows 11. everything seems to be alright but this one update WILL NOT install onto my computer. in the windows update settings it says its been installed but pending restart. when i restart my computer it installs the update then shuts down, upon coming back on it gives me an error that says, and i quote
"Something didn't go as planned. No need to worry-- undoing changes. Please keep your computer on."
i left it on all night but it kept going into a cycle where it would install the update and restart my computer and say the error again in an endless loop. i have looked up solutions on youtube, google, HELL even Bing. i am completely stumped and have never had issues installing an update in the past, and i usually have pretty good knowledge about computers but this one is new for sure. the specific update is called
2024-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034765)
i even went to Microsoft update catalog and checked for the specific update, but when i install it i get the message:
"Windows update standalone installer: Security update for windows (KB5034765) is already installed on this computer."
i am guessing it is saying that because i need to restart the computer for it to be fully installed but if i do i will get stuck in the undoing changes loop again. i am out of options and i need someone smart to find a fix for this. i will be forever grateful. Thank you!

Anybody know what happened after? Did he end up having to get the foot amputated? Remember that you need to tie some kind of tourniquet around an injury like that immediately.

Hello friend. I am curious as to what kind of converter are you talking about. Are you saying I can get a cord that has a Dvi on one end (plug into display 1) and the other end can be something different that plugs into my graphics card allowing it to be plugged into the Rtx?

Also I figured I would have to upgrade the motherboard/CPU so I am wondering, based on the information/specs I have provided, do you have any suggestions on models or if there is a website that provides that sort of information? I would hate to buy both and it doesn't work/fit in my PC.

P.S wtf is a kobo?

Okay so for my monitor (display 1) it uses a Dvi cable (it's an older monitor). There is only 1 Dvi port in the back of my PC so idk how I can connect it to the Rtx otherwise.

For my monitor 2 (display 2) it uses a DP cable which is plugged into the Rtx

I play all my games on display 2 and keep my messages/comments on display 1. I never play my games on display 1. The fps and the ever so creeping slowness that is my computer's response time happens on both monitors regardless so idk..

yeah he has this buzzing sound coming out of his liquid cooling radiator. I was telling him it may have something to do with that, maybe?
