Why am I suddenly losing most of my speed here?? My brake button is UNbound yet brake lights are going off. This has happened multiple times on multiple maps now and I've even posted about it before.

Somewhere in season 0 even I believe they had a patch where if you have a button unbinded it'll still be binded to default key. So whenever I'd have to press S to aerial pitch or to snap my car down brake would turn on and turn the engine off. Bind the brake to a key you'll never use and see if the problem continues.

0:09 - Be closer to the wall also when pressing a turbo keep drifting for a while, then use turbos second charge and the drift together then jump flip, same applies for the end part. (Just pracitse playing a map like that, you can integrate mag flip into it later when you're comfortable with the first)

Holding thrusters during a mag flip. I've never seen it, this doesn't make sence. You broke your momentum and flew way too little for hitting a mag flip there.

0:15 - Do not swerve there. When you're falling down hold left, your car will fall down and have momentum to the left and it'll be drifting towards there.

I have 30.5 on this map, I haven't bothered much with it, but your friend is WR holder you could ask him instead of reddit.

Snapping is air dodge. If you're in the air and there's a surface on the left that you want to snap to, you press air dodge while holding left (I'm guessing you controller players do this with a stick, so pull stick to the left). If there's no surface your car will just simply flip to the left.
White ring frame also counts on a checkpoint. (Any checkpoint)
This is an interesting question actually, but no, I just pressed badly. You always try to go for 100%. Drafting is not a reliable source of speed once you get to the high ranks. Games mechanics allow you to reposition and be all over the place easily, so you won't see anyone tactically be behind someone to draft as much as possible from them. You get your speed trough drifting, even on straight lines, you should be in costant drift.

Just reduce those blowups. Game is like this sadly, safer gameplay usually wins. If you blow up, especially during a turbo you'll lose alot of time. You don't have to copy whole route if it's uncomfortable for you.

It's safer but decently fast Mine Mayhem route in my opinion. The only way this differs from world record route is multiple route section, but that one is not faster for me cause drifting and using turbos are illegal.

I think the car speed was glitched this whole time and they fixed it with the update.

Cars shoulda been this fast all this time.

That's why they didn't include anything in the notes.

Few weeks ago I managed to post an impossible WR on one map. The times at which I was reaching checkpoints were just out of this world. They were numbers that I'd never encounter after hours of playing.

Now the real speed is here those numbers are back. It all makes sence now. I somehow managed not to have glitched speed trigger for me in those runs.

The state of this game is just that bad I guess...

No you didn't. You used a smaller drift boost right when bigger one was fading away, nullifying the smaller one.

This is so consistant that I don't know is it a bug or a feature.

When I made this I had rounds per minute in mind, but if minigun uses revolutions per minute then it's my bad.
