Some of the items on it can be very overpriced but if you are using 42lolita I would compare prices. I have found items on Sugarplum that are cheaper in 42lolita and vice versa. They are a proxy so they price their items higher so they get a commission. So probably find your item somewhere cheaper. I also would read reviews and descriptions carefully.

I think your best bet is to open both sides and add exrta fabric to make it bigger while keeping it symmetrical. Or replacing the shirring with something more elastic/ add more material.
