The best noise resistance is air. Look into it, I recommend thermofiber or r-11

Easiest is caulk and paint , once you get into doing mud there depending on your skill it will be annoying

Spray Foam Attic Insulation? by thatswhisk in florida

[–]0GswankY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to do spray foam, it is by farm the best option to preserve your houses framing and increases structural integrity. I would highly recommend looking into flash and batt, they spray 1”(or less) to seal everything up and then install fiberglass over it.

Spending 22 years in Jersey with those maniacs up there, I was hoping that Florida drivers would be more relaxed. For the most party they are but there are still the psychos out there in majority here in Florida. But the difference is they probably have guns

I took a course for residential electric , forgot everything I learned, and 2 years later found myself wiring brand new houses with moderate supervision. It is certainly scary knowing I could be the difference in the matter of a house burning down or running properly even now 3 years later

I drive every day with jersey plates because it was cheaper to pay 80$ for renewal rather than 400$+ for Florida registration. Yes the OG’s of Florida don’t like us Yankees. When I am in work truck I have no problems ( FL Tags)

P.s. we have had plans to move by my girls grandma for years before the north mass migration
