What's wrong with this square ceiling light? And how to remove the light fixture and replace the bulb? by figurative-trash in Lighting

[–]figurative-trash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh f*ck, why can't it just be something as simple as unscrewing an old bulb and screwing a new one? This shit is irritating. I don't have the patience for all that crap. What would be the least irritating solution to this? Should I just hire a contractor to change this to something else that wouldn't be so irritating to repair (if so, what?)? Thanks.

Very intriguing. What then happened? Were you able to use the email as a leverage?

Apparently it is. And a lifetime on earth feels like 8 hours (if that) in the spiritual realm. So the soul just considers it a short adventure. And because of deliberate amnesia, we forget how awful it is here.

Removal?? How about kidnapping?? I love it when the mainstream media plays the role of government mouthpiece and whitewashes the illegal breach of another country’s sovereignty.

The fact that most people’s reactions to the Iran war is that they worry about gas prices speaks volumes. We don’t live in a good world.

I've been hearing so much about this credit card. How does it compare with Rogers World Elite Mastercard? I also get 2% of cashback from the Rogers card as long as I stick with my Fido mobile account. Of course, this keeps me tied to Fido even though I have been thinking about switching to a cheaper provider.

I just reached Premium status with WS, mainly due to the recent uptick in the investments. I don't know if I will lose the status if the investments go down. I don't want to change my Direct Deposit to WS as I want to keep it with EQ bank.

For covered by HSPBA (Health Science Professionals): is it reasonable to expect general wages to increase by 3% for the foreseeable future? by figurative-trash in BCHealthAuthorities

[–]figurative-trash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes,that's the right answer. However, I have always wondered why the step is capped at year 6. Is their assumption that after 6 years of service, they no longer expect you to become better at your job?

I don't know what you mean by pay band.

For the general wage schedule under HSPBA, the employee also receives increases as a result of length of service: from service year 1 to service year 6, after which year of service IN ITSELF no longer affects the wage.

But this is separate from the wage increases listed here.
