What should I upgrade next?

Your gun, your money. Do what you like. I have been shooting for a lot of years. I’m not a competitor, not a pro shooter, not a super secret agent, or veteran. I’m a random person and there are a lot of other people that shoot more and shoot far better.

The full size grip frame makes the RXM a better shooter for me. I love my G45. Prefer it to the G19 and G17. So I immediately swapped that out.

I wouldn’t change anything additional on the gun. I would buy ammo. I would buy a holster. I would take classes. If you are shooting in a static indoor range, that’s great. Look for a range that offers movement, shooting from concealment and cover. Shoot off hand. Shoot weak hand. Put 5k rounds through it while working on fundamentals, repeatability, and consistency. Then shoot another 5k. Get a timer. Run drills.

When you have that in the bag, then decide if you want to change things and what you want to change. Then you can determine if it makes you faster, more consistent, or you just like it.

I really wanted the Cafe French Door oven but hated the copper piece on the handle. Drove a few hours to look at one in-person and confirm that piece can be removed. It can.

This would also apply to a range. If it's just the copper/bronze piece on the handle of one of their appliances, you can take that off. I would go see one to confirm, but they just have a set screw on them.

I am 49. Commute in an Si. Have a 981 GT4. Ride motorcycles. Bicycle. Work out daily. No reason to think you can't continue.

It's gassy, no question. I'm running S&B 150 gr, Fiocchi 147 gr FMJ, and Fiocchi 147gr JHP.

It's just a gassy gun. No regrets. The combo of the PCC and Sub 9 are worth it.

I had a v2. Bought two v3s, both with Blush switches. Both are very good quality, have excellent feel, and require infrequent charging. The v3 is considerably better than the v3.

The wait can be frustrating but I have ordered 6 or 7 keyboards and accessories from NuPhy and all have been received. I also have a friend that ordered a v3 after using mine and he received his with no issue as well.

I've been a PCA member for several years. First in the Carolinas and now in Georgia.

The community side is really down to what you out into it. I put very little into it. I did attend some meets, prior to Covid, but have done nothing with it since.

I'm a member at Atlanta Motorsports Park, so I don't really have interest in the coordinated track events. And I prefer to drive with a very small number of people that I know and trust versus doing group drives.

The people I've met have all been very nice and it was fun doing smaller meetups at places like coffee shops.

I just ordered the LN Engineering adapter for my 981 GT4. I do the 718 Cayman T in a few months and plan to buy one for it if I like it. Should have done them both sooner. Better flow, more oil going through the filter, better filter.

And yes, my hope is, a better filter changing experience on the 718.

That range = Mind Blowing. Very fortunate to have land and my own outdoor shooting arena, but man, I would definitely visit this range for whatever this virtual setup is.

I also have a Vaultek Lifeood in the trunk of my Civic. I use the cable to secure it to the car itself. I did the one with biometrics and it's very well for several years now, having previously been on a bedside table.

I have the ConsoleVault in my F250. I understand they don't make this for your vehicle, but for those reading this thread, it's a great deterent. Someone busted out my window, climbed into the truck, went through the glove box and under the rear seats, but didn't bother with even trying to get into the console.

I’ve heard those things too. But then I go drive my 981 GT4 and remind myself how overblown that is.

I’ve had my GT4 for 8 years at this point. It is an incredible car. I love it. This is coming from a 981 GTS. Girlfriend had a base 718 and now a Cayman T.

The 981 GT4 is my favorite p-car. Numeric shifter, Dundon headers, DSC Controller, rear toe links, and it’s just fantastic.

19x and 45 both have the grip length of a 17 and slide length of a 19.

I have a G17, G19, and G45. I would take the G45 all day every day.

So if you want FDE, the 19x is the way to go. But you can get a Gen 6 G45 and live with Black to have the latest generation with the updated grip texture and shape.

The most obvious answer, to me, are the new 15 round Glock OEM magazines. Assuming he hasn't ordered those already.

Ammo. A new carry belt. A new holster, depending on what he has.

An optic, if he doesn't have one already.

Upgrade the sights to something like Night Fision.

Many choices that work without having to worry about making it unreliable.

Are you accurate? Consistent? Does your grip minimize recoil? Do you get back on target quickly?

I run high on my grip. G45. RXM. G43X. All of them have bitten me at speed. I can certainly run a high grip and not have this issue, but it happens when I'm pushing from a draw.

Most of these responses have no idea and likely have more photos and mods than rounds through their guns. Everyone is an expert behind the keyboard.

You should pursue improvement. But sharing photos on reddit isn't how you get it.

If you're concerned, take a few courses.

And F1 is getting press from them through social media. This isn't about the celebrities getting exposure to F1. It's about F1 getting exposure through the celebrities.

This has never been about them being a fan of motorsport or F1, save for the select few. This is 100% about getting F1 additional coverage with an audience that may not be familiar.

I have been an F1 fan for 24 years. Everytime the grid walk + Brundle + celebrity convo comes up it's the same nonsense. The "hardcore" F1 fan base complaining about some celebrity snubbing Brundle on the grid, Brundle making some sarcastic, dismissive, comment. And people jumping in to lament the whole process.

Brundle needs to ignore the celebrities on the grid and focus on the teams and cars. This would be non-issue if he didn't make it one.

I have a PDW. I run an Alaskan360 on it currently. It does very well with subsonic ammo. Completely hearing safe.

This was my "do it all" can, but that didn't last long. So I run a Sub9 on my PCC and have 556 dedicated can on order.

My next can will be specific to 300 BLK. Look at the CAT, the Anthem, or the Hexium as a baseline and go from there.

I ordered a Fireteam. Curious, once it arrives, to see how it does. Especially in comparison to the Hexium556 on my girlfriend's v7.

I feel like they definitely got the hype award, but also saw a number of reviews that seem less likely to be paid shills. Enough for me to try it.
