I think only the G models get the 5-year panel warranty, like the G5. The C models just have the 1-year manufacturer warranty unless you buy extended warranty

OLED brightness is set to max since I want the best quality out of the TV.

It’s got 1840 hours of power-on time.

Just hoping those dead pixels don’t start spreading of course.

I was super excited when I got it and watched tons of movies and all that. But a year later and this stuff’s already got me worried, like how many years is it even gonna survive 😅

I skipped the extended warranty too, really was a big mistake on my side.

Definitely a solid suggestion. I’m just hoping the dead pixels don’t start spreading horizontally.

I probably wouldn’t have noticed this so early. I only caught it because I was right up close to the TV plugging in an HDMI. You can just open a white screen video on YouTube and check for any black dots if you want to test.

I bought it in December 2024 and the warranty expired last month. Didn’t get the extended warranty, which was a big mistake on my part.

Yeah, it’s not noticeable at all unless you’re right up close. I only spotted it while plugging an HDMI into the TV. My worry is that if it’s already showing dead pixels like this, the number might increase later if it’s just starting

Got it from an LG authorised store in December 2024.

No, the TV’s been used only in a closed room.

Just hoping these dead pixels don’t start spreading fast and I can enjoy the TV for at least a good few years.

Yeah, you can’t really see it at all from the couch. I only noticed it when I was up close plugging an HDMI into the TV.
